30th Anniversary at Lake Desoto Rental

The actual setup of the property is nice. There were some issues that would have made the stay better. 1. There was no remote control for the TV in the family room. I ended up having to use my laptop since we had no way of using that TV with the available cable. 2. The guest bedroom has a ceiling fan with a light. However, there wasn't a way to turn off the light when the fan was running. So, sleeping at night had to be done without the use of the ceiling fan. 3. The outside deck areas are nice. However, they were somewhat covered in pine needles. Also, if you're planning on staying here during warm weather, BUY SOME MOSQUITO REPELLANT!!! Now for all of the positives. 1. The unit is nicely furnished and comfortable. 2. The location is good and the view of the lake is outstanding. 3. The steps going down to the lake are very steep, but they are in good shape. Just remember that gravity will be working against you on your way back up! 4. Hot Springs Village Rentals, the agency that manages the unit has great service. 5. The kitchen was nicely equipped. 6. WIFI was fast and dependable. We had a great time. The negatives were a bit of a pain to deal with, but overall, the unit is nice. I can recommend the unit, but I'd want renters to be aware of the negatives.

Quiet, comfortable, great view

We absolutely loved our stay at this clean, well-maintained, comfortable, two-story condo. Located in a very quiet neighborhood, this place has a great view of the lake and a couple of leather recliners to die for. Check-in/check-out was super simple (we arrived after hours) and the gate guards always greeted us with a smile and wave. Hated having to leave; would re-book this place in an instant.

Nice Place to get away

This property was as described. There are very many steps getting down to and up from the lake so if you have bad knees/hips keep that in mind. Also, the king size bed is very firm to me. I'm used to sleeping on a soft bed. Other than that, it was perfect. Dishes in the kitchen could use some updating. Home Plate and Clampit's are both very close and very good places to eat. The neighbor next door is nice and friendly as well. Great neighborhood. Very quiet, peaceful and relaxing.

A great stay

We traveled to Hot Springs as a family with our two teenage sons over the week of Thanksgiving. We loved this property, there was enough space for the four of us, the house was clean, with a beautiful view of the lake, very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. There are several restaurants nearby, a Brookshire’s if you need groceries, and It’s a short drive to Hot Springs National Park. Would highly recommend!

24 Cabo Tinoso

The property was immaculately clean and furnished with taste and comfort in mind. The location was centered on most resort activities and only a short drive from most of the local attractions. The permanent residents next door were friendly and so very helpful. Overall my wife and I would love to express our gratitude to the management staff for their tireless efforts in assuring that our visit was pressure free and enjoyable.

Only issue was that key lockbox did not work, rental company knew this ahead of time but still didn’t organize leaving another key and we had to drive back to rental office, thankfully it was 5 mins before closing, no idea what would happened if they were closed

Better than the photos

The rental was clean, cozy, and more spacious than the photos depicted. The views from the upper and lower deck were phenomenal. The view was amazing. I would absolutely stay at this location again...and again...and again.

Enjoyed the beautiful view

Although there were lots of stairs to go up and down it was worth it, the view was beautiful, all worth it. We enjoyed the fishing. Didn't catch anything. But we really enjoyed sitting on the deck by the lake. The condo was very clean and the set up was nice. Furniture looked new and loved th padded carpet. Loved being able to sit on either of the two patois the morning. Loved our stay.

Beautiful home

We stayed in this home over the weekend and loved it. We have a toddler and an 8 month old so all of the stairs was a bit challenging but it was fine overall. There was a little bit of trash on the floor when we arrived but everything else was fine. I would stay here again but maybe once the kids are bigger and can walk the stairs themselves lol.

Cozy

The house was nice and the price was right. I have no complaints about the house. However, when I walked into the office to check in, a young woman was standing there having a conversation with a man. She looked right at me, turned her back to me, continued her conversation, looked a something on her desk, walked into the back office without ever saying a word to me. Rude beyond belief. A young lady came out of the back office, I think her name was Denise and she was extremely nice and helpful.

Very peaceful!

We loved staying in Hot Springs Village and the townhouse we stayed in was great and has a gorgeous view of the lake. My son and husband loved being able to fish off the deck. I enjoyed relaxing on one of the 3 decks the townhouse offered. We also had fun playing miniature golf, basketball and the playground that are offered right down the street at the multipurpose building. It was a fun and relaxing time. We will be back.

Updated, clean, and great views...the perfect weekend getaway condo!

We loved the home. It was extremely clean and the set up of the house was very comfortable. It was obvious that the owners took a lot of time and attention in updating the property. It was a little too cold to use the outdoor areas, but they looked great. Excellent view from the two patios and easy access to the water. We especially liked the proximity to the gate. We will definitely be staying there again!
