Very nice and clean home, very well stocked with everything you need. Very private with no close neighbors, just be prepared for narrow, steep winding road to location, but driveway is level with easy first level access through garage. Host and owner had excellent communication and checked in on us throughput our stay. Due to remote location, we had no cell service, but WiFi worked great.

Camp Hood was fantastic. The house provided every need possible for our 3 couples off-roading group. The 3 bedroom suites are a game changer. No couple had to share a bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked to cook about any meal possible. Our group hauled our jeeps to hot springs and had plenty of parking to stow: 3 18' trailers, 3 fullsize trucks, and 3 jeep wranglers. I would highly recommend staying at Camp Hood. Lastly, the host Terri is wonderful and very accommodating. She is very responsive to texts and request when our group needing things. Overall, it was a 10 star 🌟 stay.

Girls trip of 6! Had the BEST time! The property is exactly as listed. Came with all the appliances and some extras for cooking. Hot tub was wonderful. Terri- the house manager is a DOLL!!! She made sure we had everything we needed. Hope to be back!

The stay was absolutely fabulous. From check in to leaving (which we did not want to leave) lol, was great. The owner and manager are so attentive to your needs as well as all the extras to make you feel welcome Sid right at home. Everything about the property is 10/10. We can’t wait to return. This was our second time staying at this property for our annual trip. We absolutely love this house! It's just the perfect size for 3 couples. Each of the three bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom. The kitchen is well-appointed with anything and everything you could need. The quiet seclusion of the house is a welcome respite from daily life. The back deck overlooking the trees, along with the firepit and hot tub, is the perfect relaxation spot. Any communication received a super-fast response. We look forward to returning later this year!

Our group consisted of 3 couples for an annual golf trip. The property worked great as there was a bathroom connected to each bedroom. We loved the location of the home (we thought the drive was super fun). The property is well managed and very clean. We will definitely try to book again next year!

This property was everything we'd read about it in other reviews: it was very clean upon arrival and everything was as expected. It's a very impressive house that has been well maintained. The kitchen had everything thing we needed to prepare our meals. The hot tub worked flawlessly and was very relaxing. The beds were very comfortable and we slept very well. The bathrooms were very nice. We sat in front of the gas fireplace several evenings and enjoyed nice conversations (it's easily turned on with the push of a button). Although every part of the house was impressive (lots of beautiful pine woodwork) the main living area was especially enjoyable with its' very tall picture windows showcasing the beautiful forest outside. We easily parked our SUV and our guests' large pickup in the garage. The property is very isolated in the thick and very hilly woods around it. I will say that the very hilly and curvy roads to the property were a little intimidating at first but we quickly became accustomed to driving them (the roads actually became kinda fun to drive). Of the many, many VRBO properties we've stayed in this is one of a handful that we would consider returning to. I can heartily recommend this property to anyone considering staying here.

Our group stayed for 4 glorious nights and are ready to go back next week. The quiet and solitude of the surrounding area was so peaceful every morning while enjoying our coffee on the deck. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need or want. The property manager, Terri, was an absolute gem! She escorted us to the house and gave a comprehensive tour. She even followed up with us to make sure we were settled in. We were sad when we had to leave, but look forward to returning for another visit!

My husband and I were looking for a quiet, scenic, and amenity filled place to stay for an extended weekend. We didnt plan to leave the property very often so amenities were important. Everything you could possibly need was already there. Everything you possibly need to cook or grill, plenty of bedding, towels, etc. The Hood’s have a beautiful home, and if you love to read… well you will not be disappointed with the abundance of books to read! Would definitely visit their place again!
