- You"ll feel hidden away in this tranquil paradise, yet be just a short stroll from the hub of Magnetic Island. Moana Cottage is situated on a shady and cool block with gums and palms. It is one of the rare homes in Horseshoe Bay that offers the convenience of being just a short stroll from the beachfront including shops, restaurants, water sport activities and other island attractions without compromising the privacy and comfort for the holiday maker.
Nestled back onto National Parkland, set far from the traffic and hidden amongst native bush, Moana Cottage takes full advantage of the natural landscape surrounds, making you feel like your miles away from it all.
Enjoy relaxing in the fully-screened sunroom or on the back veranda while feeding native birds and rock wallabies.

Great property with everything we needed and within walking distance to Horseshoe Bay.
Does need screens on all back doors replaced as bugs are able to get in as they are all shredded at the bottom.

Cosy cottage
Moana cottage was a very accomodating clean and comfortable oasis and a 5 minute stroll to our Favorite bay. Morning and evenings we were greeted by the local wildlife at the back door. Moana was Private and cosy with no need for a car. Had everything we needed for our 5 day stay Including stubbie coolers and beach towels. Can’t wait for our next trip to Maggie!

Great location!
The cottage is a bit outdated and some cobwebs here and there; however, the location is fantastic! Very close to amenities, butterfly walk and entrance to walking trails.

Awesome place to stay on Magnetic Island
Very happy with Moana Cottage as holiday house on Magnetic Island. Lots of space 2 bed modern house with great facilities and even better location with cute local wallabies in the backyard. We had a great time and the air con was great.
Horseshoe Bay was definitely the best part of Magnetic Island and this property was a 5 minute walk to the beach.

Beautiful, very relaxing.
We loved our stay - the area is so quiet and within easy walking distance to Horseshoe Bay. Loved seeing kookaburras and wallabies in the backyard too. Will be back again soon!

Peaceful and well appointed
What a lovely mini break we had at Moana Cottage. Arrived at 10pm to the lights and the door unlocked. Awoke to native birdsong and a beautiful day - and greeted by rock wallabies out the back as we had our coffee. The cottage was comfortable, well appointed, and didn't lack for anything. a 5 minute walk to the beach and cafes (and bus stop if you need it). It's a great location - we love Horseshoe Bay and its proximity to the national park. Even saw a koala in a tree right on our street! Highly recommended.

Fantastic home away from home!
We really enjoyed our stay at Moana. A lovely haven with wildlife at our back door including koalas but also minutes away from beach and cafes. A lovely part of the world.

Relaxation at its best
This pictures are true. Great place with everything you need to relax. Native animals at your back door. Books to read, safe swimming and a beach with bar within walking distance. Wonderful to watch the sun set. Then home or eat out. Two fridges makes for a great holiday. Esky too. Don't bring a thing. Shop on the island and enjoy!! We did. Thanks
