The cabin was stocked well enough that we could cook a little breakfast in the morning and head off to Mammoth Cave for some hiking during the day. Really happy I found this spot. "Host answered promptly to any questions. It was a beautiful location. There was firewood outside with a place to sit and have a fire. Unfortunately, it rained so we couldn’t do that. There was even chocolate and marshmallows inside. The home itself was very comfortable. I would put extra blankets as the blankets are thin and it was cold and wet outside. The rooms heat will adjust but we enjoy cooler with blankets. Bunk bed needs railing for safety on top. Also, the mattresses on the bunkbed...

"We absolutely loved staying at the Lily Pad cottage. Quiet..Peaceful..plenty for the kids and adults to do. Had a campfire every night. Relaxing and serene. Just what we needed to get away from the busy lives we all lead. Sunrise was Beautiful as well as the stars at night. Our host was amazing. Felt like Family. We will definitely be back. Loved it!!"

"The cabin's setting among rolling pasture was so wildly picturesque. We woke up one morning to fields covered in light frost and it felt like a dream. The interior is perfectly updated to be clean and super functional while retaining a ton of country/cabin charm. Some of the most restful sleep I've ever gotten, with the only sound after dark being the occasional delightful clip-clop of a horse drawn buggy.Our host even went out of her way to help us with plans after our National Park cave tour...

"Beautiful, clean cabin exactly as shown in the pictures with plenty of clean towels, dishes, and other kitchen supplies. The property was nice and quiet and close to Mammoth Caves so it was easy to get around. The fire pit was also well built and well maintained and offered a great place to hang out in the evenings. Hughly recommend staying here if you want to visit Mammoth Caves. "
