These people are awful. They refused to rent me a room because they didnt like the way my boyfriend looked. I explained to them that he is mentally challenged and disabled and needed a place for a couple of days due to the horrible heat we were having. A total violation of the law and my boyfriends civil rights due to his mental disability. It is unlawful for a place of accomodation to deny services based on someones disability. I have rented rooms at multiple places in the area without any problems. A total act of discrimination. They gave no reason as to why they refused to rent me a room but the nasty look on the mangers face as he went out to the parking lot and looked at my boyfriend up and down said it all.

Nearest shop is a Subway next to the hospital. There is also a BBQ place not too far away with good food. Hotel parking is tight. Hotel is small and not luxurious, but is adequate when you need a place to sleep for the night. Staff was friendly, check-in was very easy.

Was gonna be late calked ahead to let them know left a message on answering machine no return call and when we arrived no one would come out to check us in. Had to sleep in the truck.

Not a bad place

The hotel was better than i thought given the 2 star ratong i saw. Room was pretty clean, the bed was comfortable and the location was great. I would defintely stay there again for the price.

Terrible experience. Owned by a couple and the wife is so mean and hateful. I accidentally got a stain on the sheets and felt so terrible about it. I balled the sheets up and put them by the door thinking they would be picked up. I came back that evening and nothing had been picked up. The trash was taken out and that’s it. The woman of the couple was watching for me to return from behind a curtain in the office and knocked on the door 5 minutes after I returned. She called me “disgusting” and “disrespectful.” My boyfriend and I apologized repeatedly and even offered to pay for new sheets, but anything we said she would turn her nose up at and keep complaining about us. We stayed there 4 nights and the room was never cleaned. The only thing that was picked up was our trash bags. We kept the same dirty sheets until the last night when we were finally fed up with everything. The man of the couple was nice and understanding and immediately gave us new sheets. Even when we got there, the sheets originally had stains on them, our new ones had stains, the walls were stained, and the bathroom sink did not drain. This place should not even be in business. I’m sure you could find better in or around Hopewell.

It was a pretty nice place for the price…… bedding and towels were a little on the dirty side but besides that everything was nice….. a big plus for us was that they had smoking rooms!!!

These people at this hotel should not be in business running a hotel with their nasty disposition. Expedia should not be involved with a hotel that is run like the Riverside inn they won't let you bring anybody in they tell you they don't have a room and you already have a booking number nasty disposition jumped out of the bed sleeping their eyes boogers in their nose. I'm not understanding why someone has to be that nasty working with the public.

This property has no amenities, we chose it because it was half a mile from the theater we were attending that evening! It obviously is an old roadside motel, BUT the current owners have updated the rooms! The rooms had new furniture and all were freshly painted. The hot water was instant and excellent! The beds were very comfortable and high(we laughed as we attempted to climb up on the beds LOL) Absolutely no complaints whatsoever, we had a nice warm comfortable room for the night at a great price! Exactly what we wanted 😊

We used this property before and were pleased, but not this time! We checked in with the outside temperature at 25°f, when we got in our room the heat was off! We turned it on and although it was working, 2 hrs later we were still huddled in our winter coats! We checked out and didn’t stay the night!
