"Already left a review from last week. Staying a second time in a week will emphasize this is a nice place that I would stay again in a week. See other review for what I liked (which was everything). This studio gets lots of natural light (which is great). However, in the summer months you may want to bring a sleep mask if you want to sleep in."

"We stayed this past week with our two dogs, and it was a wonderful family vacation. We stayed in the Blacksmith Cottage, which was fully-furnished with everything we needed. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked with pots and pans, and the oven and fridge were great to have. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. "We were in town for our son’s graduation from VCU and stayed at this property. Everything about the place and the experience with Mainstay was awesome.The place was super clean, the beds comfortable, the kitchen nice and open and the wifi was super fast. "Great location & wonderful amenities! You can’t beat the beauty of the river’s view and the woods that surround the property. We stayed with our two young sons and they loved playing outside, the arcade games, and the dock. The only draw back for families is not having an internal staircase, but it wasn’t too much of a problem for us. This is definitely more for a rustic getaway rather than a luxurious stay. It worked very well for our family of boys. "
