External utility room with freezer, tumble dryer and washing machine. Private outdoor area with seating, garden furniture and barbecue. Indoor heated swimming pool (private sessions, 8.5m x 4m, depth 1.2m x 1.4m, 08:00 - 20:00) with shower and changing facilities. One complimentary private Swim Only session is included with every stay. Private sauna, steam room and plunge pool sessions are also available to book during your stay, along with additional swimming sessions. All pool and spa sessions must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There are 2 steps in the garden.. Twitchill Farm enjoys a peaceful hillside setting above the village of Hope in the beautiful Hope Valley, within the Peak District National Park. With spectacular views across the surrounding countryside towards Castleton, the Shepherd’s Hut is a lovely countryside escape for two.

Beautifully equipped and designed to make the most of the space, the Shepherd’s Hut combines cosy interiors with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Underfloor heating keeps the hut warm throughout the year, while thoughtful touches include wireless charging points and an L-shaped seating and dining area.

The pull-down double bed can be tucked away during the day, creating a comfortable living space for relaxing and enjoying the views. There is also a well-equipped kitchen with a Belfast sink and copper tap, hot and cold water, induction hob, microwave, pop-up electric socket with wireless charging and a fridge with freezer compartment.

The hut has its own private outdoor space facing the surrounding hills, with outdoor seating and a charcoal BBQ – a lovely spot to sit back and take in the Peak District scenery.

For an extra relaxing stay, guests have access to the private leisure facilities at Twitchill Farm.

One complimentary private Swim Only session in the indoor heated swimming pool is included with every stay, giving you exclusive use of the pool during your booked session. Private sauna, steam room and plunge pool sessions can also be booked, along with additional swimming sessions. All sessions must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.

For those wanting to explore, a footpath runs directly by Twitchill Farm, giving you walking straight from the doorstep and access to routes leading up to Win Hill and beyond. The Hope Valley offers fantastic opportunities for walking, cycling, climbing and caving, with Castleton and Ladybower Reservoir both within easy reach.

The village of Hope is just a short distance away with welcoming pubs, cafés and local shops, making the Shepherd’s Hut a great base for a peaceful Peak District break.
