"The property is centrally located and provides ease of access to many walks. There is a fully stocked supermarket nearby which provides foods and essentials and there are a number of good eateries within walking distance. The cottage is cosy and clean with all the facilities you could reasonably want. The kitchen is very well equipped. The hosts were very friendly and aoproachable. I heartily recommend this cottage for your restful break."

"Location was excellent for walks, Castleton centre, pubs & restaurants. The cottage is very small but fine for two people & a dog. The log burner is great but no wood or matches are provided. The little kitchen area has everything you need although there isn’t any space for prepping food. The stairs are very steep. The bed is extremely comfortable & we slept really well. "We have just returned from a couple of nights at Brewers Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and bigger than it seems from the photos. Foolow is convenient access to some lovely areas and walks in the Peak District, and just a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage is the local pub that does fabulous food and has very friendly staff. Do take a torch for the walk there and back on darker nights though!! All in all, a fantastic stay and we would...
