The cabin was amazing for my friends and I. Great central location to so many cool hiking trails/Lake Cushman. The host was also great. Having a guide was really helpful for us to find the best spots in the area. The actual rules and instructions for the cabin were easy to follow as well.

This cabin was a dream to stay in. It was so quiet and peaceful, and we had everything we needed like pots and pans and such. Anytime I had a question, Debbie would respond right away. She let me know ahead of time about the nearby fires and what parks were opened.I cannot wait to return soon!

This is a wonderful cabin. The A frame structure is rustic and charming. There’s a comfy deck. Debra has shelves of board games and lots of info on local things to do. There is a washer and dryer! The upstairs loft with the king bed is where we slept because my husband is 6’6”. I loved it, although I bumped my head 3 times on the ceiling beams! But my husband was not that happy with how low the bed is and that we had to go downstairs to use the bathroom. The kitchen had the necessary dishes. But there are 2 things that make me give this otherwise terrific cabin 4 stars. 1 is that we stayed there to see Olympic National Park, but it is a 2-3 hour drive to any of the most iconic sites in the park. The property is listed as “adjacent to Olympic Nat’l Park.” That seems like a place to stay if you want to see the park, right? But we found out it is 2-3 hours further away than properties further north on the peninsula. So we ended up driving about 10 extra hours over the course of the 3 days. And we’d already driven from Tennessee. The other thing is how noisy the trucks are by the cabin. Debra explained that fire fighters are keeping their trucks and equipment there. At least 2 mornings, while we were having our tea on the porch, a truck continually ground up and down the hill. But we enjoyed ourselves otherwise. Thank you.

This is a really cute cottage. That is a perfect combination of new appliances and amenities, combined in a rustic look and feel living space. Deborah is the kindest and most helpful host. The cabin is located conveniently with access to a number of recreational activities. Thank you, Lambert family we will be back.

Rustic cabin in the woods

Cute little cabin in a beautiful neighborhood by lake cushmam. We enjoyed walking to the lake from the cabin. Unfortunately there was a forest fire nearby so the air was a bit smoky and we couldn’t hike the trails nearby that we had planned. The linens and kitchen could use a few more up updates but other than that a really nice property.

We enjoyed the quiet of this well appointed cabin. The beds were comfy, well stocked kitchen and bathroom. We would have enjoyed a lake view but the description of the property was accurate and we liked being close to Staircase.

Very Nice Spacious Cabin in Quiet, Rustic Setting

My two friends and I loved this cabin. It was very large and beautiful. We loved the two decks and sat out on both. The living room and kitchen was very large, and the owner sent us lots of good information on hiking trails and was very clear how to access everything and how to check out. It was two bedrooms, so I slept on of the two large couches and slept very well. Great Owner.

Cabin Get Away

Perfect location for beach access and hikes! Easy to get to, and the cabin was super clean. Had the best king mattress upstairs, super comfortable we slept like babies. Only thing missing is a hot tub, or sauna and it would have been absolutely perfect.
