We really enjoyed our stay at the tree house. The view from inside and outside was amazing. The host was in contact with entry information well before check-in time so we weren’t worried. Everything we needed in the kitchen was provided. The bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend this rental for your next visit to Hood River!

Good stay at Hood river

Great location for visiting the waterfront and downtown. 10-15 min walk to most places downtown. It's a very comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood. There is a fenced side yard with an area for a dog to do business. The view is amazing.

Comfortable and Great View

We stayed here for three nights for a wedding weekend. It was comfortable and spacious for two couples. It’s an easy walk to downtown and great location with a great view. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. We did not do any cooking but the kitchen had the basics. The place could use a deep cleaning and some upgrades but Brian was very responsive when we reached out with a question. I would stay here again.

Perfect Place

The Columbia Tree House was the perfect place for us to stay. The house was incredibly clean, the kitchen had everything and more than we expected. The living space was nice, and the beds were very comfortable.The view from the home is incredible and the architecture of the house is amazing! The deck has a nice table and a bench to sit and enjoy the view This property is in a perfect location on a quiet street with great parking off of the street. We were able to walk everywhere, it is a short walk to downtown, and the grocery store is extremely close.Brian was an amazing host his communication was very quick as we had a special request with our dogs and we were booking in a popular time.He responded immediately and we were able to secure this location. Brian also checked in to see that we had made it and if everything was okay with our check in. When it was time to leave he also checked in and we were able to talk with him about the incredible hospitality and this amazing house and architecture.This is the best rental that we have ever stayed in and cannot wait to book it again!

Great location, walkable to town and the river. Epic views from inside the house and the balcony. The house was equipped with pretty much everything we needed and all was in good working order. Brian, the owner was very responsive and helpful with local knowledge.

Well equiped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Nice deck with view of columbia river and mt. Adams. Quiet neighborhood with easy walk to downtown and grocery. One improvement would be to add a second fan unit downstairs to the split heat pump system. The lower bedroom can get hot in summer. Also need more comfortable deck chairs. We brought our own.

Great gorge get-away

We were in town to make my husband’s dream of trying out wind sports in Hood River into reality and this was the perfect base camp for making that happen. The house is close to just about everything, and the river view is unbeatable.

Needs a little refresh

This place was clean, but worn out. The sofa is so worn it feels like one is sitting on the floor. The outside has zero landscaping and the building is in desperate need of paint. The windows are dirty. For such a great view this place could be spectacular. It needs some work.

Columbia Tree House Review

The Columbia Tree House was located very close, walking distance to downtown Hood River. This VRBO offered an excellent view of the Columbia River. We spent a lot of time just lounging on the back deck enjoying the great weather and the tremendous view of the river. I would stay here again.
