The house was very clean and accommodating. The view was amazing, from the deck and the back porch. You felt far enough away from everything, but close enough to take nice day trips.

The cottage was very nice, very clean and well organized, and well appointed. Loved the extra towel racks in each room! The property was lovely and the beach and lake were beautiful. There were just a couple of things that could be improved. My mom did get a splinter running her hand along the back deck seating for support. Curtains on the living room windows would be nice, as we felt a little on display when it was dark outside. My mom and I would prefer unscented laundry soap, as we are prone to headaches from strong scents. The only other thing that would have mad it more comfortable would be bedside lamps for reading, or to turn ou the light before going to bed. Other than that we LOVED the cottage and our stay there, and hope to come back!Thank you!

Beautiful lakefront property with a great view. Large yard with plenty of frontage and nice dock. Tucked away in a pretty little cove that is well protected from the wind. Very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

The little things need attention

This property could be a fantastic rental, but the amenities, lack of management, and need for maintenance make me question returning.1. Amenities - everything was extremely cheap and breaking/broken. From the polyester sheets, paper thin pillows, and broken blinds/screens - to the lack of glass wear (everything was plastic or disposable). At over 500/night you’d expect some of these amenities to be better than dollar store quality. They weren’t.2. Maintenance - upon arrival the screen was popped out of the frame. I fixed it the best that I could and notified management. They responded that it’s tough to get help in the area. Nobody came to fix it. Then there’s the deck and outdoor table… Both of these give you splinters just by looking at them. In fact, both of my kids did get splinters from them. Lastly, there were so many ANTS!! Anything you put on a kitchen counter got covered with ants almost immediately. Rather than contact a proper exterminator, the management company just down a bunch of ant motels that do nothing.3. Management/ cleaning crew - the first thing we noticed when we arrived was the overflowing garbage outside. With stern instructions that garbage must fit in the receptacle or garbage company won’t take it. Then there was the old mildew sponge. I think it’s pretty standard to swap out a new sponge for new guests. There were other issues that were brought up too. Only the grill was resolved. We felt local rep should have stopped b…

Wonderful stay!

The house is kept very clean and comfortable. The location is great with easy access to M-22. Overall, this was a great home base for our adventures. We appreciated the peaceful view and beautiful sunrises!

Relaxing

An older but clean and well loved house off a nicely secluded drive. It was a great getaway with a beautiful view of the lake. No AC or wifi, but it wasn’t an issue the week we stayed. Would definitely stay again!

Summer 2024 Trip

Spent a week with family of 5 at Birch Point and had plenty of room with plenty of spaces. Deck is spacious and in good condition. Good grill. Back sun room very nice with comfortable seating. Very clean and well equipped kitchen. Beach area and dock were very nice, tucked away in a great location on the lake. Plan on staying again.
