"The facility is well located. It is quiet and peaceful. The view is awesome and the property is well maintained. There is some beach nearby, which is nice. The host was responsive and gracious. The only issue we experienced was that we could not figure out how to get two of the three TV's to work. But, you are in Maui... so why are you watching TV anyway? All in all, great place! We would come back again and highly recommend this for large families! We had 9 total, 4 adults and 5 teens. ...

"We had the best time evwr at this cute cottage on the beach. The beach is not really great for snorkel, but the green area and pool/spa is amazing. There are several beaches with more sand near by and i cant recommend more the valet parking at sheraton, have a drink and enjoy black rock beach. Everyday there were turtles at our beach and we saw whales in the distance. Our host was very nice. "

"What a great place. We loved it. Had everything you need as far as kitchen supplies beach chairs coolers. Pool was great. Small private beach. We could walk to anything we needed. Close to many other beaches to check out. Hope to make it back some day!! PS No AC was something to get used to but it really was fine by the end of the day and for sleeping. Had natural white noise of the ocean with the windows and everything open. Amazing waking up drinking a cup of Kona coffee and sitting watching...

"This property was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the proximity to food/coffee/shops. It was short drive to some great snorkeling. We liked the fact that it overlooked a public park which made for some enjoyable entertainment. We didn't have to cross a road to access the beach. The description is accurate. "The condo provided everything we wanted and needed. The view was spectacular, and the lanai furniture was perfect for viewing sitting and relaxing. "Papakea is situated in a perfect location for whale watching from the lanai or shore. Although a reset, it didn’t feel like it. The two pools were not overcrowded and there were always lounge chairs available. The food truck court is a 5 min walk, as is a grocery store. Very convenient location."

"We had a family of 10 stay at Brian's house for 10 nights. The resort grounds are well maintained and have a great view of the ocean. Ample sleeping room for 10 people. A/C in all of the sleeping area came in handy during 80F days. House is well supplied. If your party is 10 adults, then it might feel a bit tight if everyone tried to linger in the family room.
