"Beautiful setting. The provided kayaks were great. We enjoyed paddling out into Carr Inlet and were joined by sea lions, bald eagles and more. I would add a couple more adult life vests as the provided ones were more for a family of 4 with kids, not 4 adults but that's a minor thing. The cabin is great and evenings were great in the hot tub or using the fire pit. A tv in the living room might be a plus, but who needs it with the deck and more. Easy to find. Secluded from traffic, but close...

"Beautiful daylight basement with private patio in a pretty wooded area. No view of the water, and a bit of street noise outside, but quiet inside except for the putter-patter of little feet from upstairs sometimes. The resident small dog and cat were friendly and happy to welcome us. Shopping was just minutes away. Watch for deer if you drive the area at dusk/dark! At the corner where you turn into the neighborhood, there are tons of wild blackberries."

"We only spent one night here after spending a busy day hiking around the area on a 6 day hiking trip. "We had a wonderful stay. Hosts were very communicative with arrival/check-in information. They responded very quickly to any questions. I grew up in Tacoma so I was very familiar with the area. For those who aren’t, rental is located in a quiet area on the North-end, close to waterfront, restaurants/stores, and easy access to the freeway. I would highly recommend staying here and I will definitely check for availability when I travel back to Tacoma."

"It is listed as a basement apartment but it doesn't feel like a basement - it is really lovely and quite comfortable. I would choose to stay there again. Parking in the driveway worked once I realized it was easier to come in from the Division Street end versus from 4th Street."

"The instructions in the room about getting your vehicle out of the parking garage are incorrect. The management has admitted this needs to be updated, but they haven't done it yet. You need to scan the original paper receipt from the parking garage when you leave the garage, NOT the key card from your room.
Otherwise, our stay was very smooth and we were very happy with the room."
