"When booked it says take blanket&pillow case?no need bedding is included.. Shared bathroom clean&tidy. After 10.30 gets really loud with jukebox,on a main road..if you a light sleeper this is no good.but i enjoyed my stay it was for one night..breakfast was excellent! Cereals toast and a full English was excellent for my journey I would definitely stay again if was down that end..very impressive. "

"We’ve just had a fantastic stay at Sea Barn and honestly couldn’t fault a thing. Sarah was an amazing host from start to finish and made us feel so welcome. The property was spotless, relaxing, and extremely well maintained throughout. Everything we needed was provided, including thoughtful extras like food and milk waiting for us on arrival, which was a lovely touch. The beds were really comfortable, the facilities were excellent, and the hot tub was absolutely amazing — perfect for relaxing...

"Darren at reception was really lovely, the lady who served us breakfast in the morning was very lovely and accommodating. The hotel dog ran up to us barking as we were leaving, which was a bit alarming. The bedroom was simple and clean. Unfortunately the hotel has an awful smell, even in the bedrooms, like damp or mouldy carpets. A bee was in our room, luckily my husband was able to get it out. I appreciate it is an old historic building, but a deep clean and refresh of the carpets might help."

"Such a wonderful property, and the rooms are so very clean and comfortable. We slept so well, and were treated quite nicely. Kate is such a lovely host, and her brekkie is top-notch. We enjoyed chatting with her as we ate, and found her delightful and helpful. The farm setting is so peaceful (for us guest that is, a lot of hard work for owners), and the location is great for visiting the Lizard and other places around south Cornwall. Thank you much for such a great stay!"

"I ended up booking this on a lark, and what great fortune it was! The location, the attention to details, the fluidity of welcoming attentive and informative staff to impeccable grounds, made it a memorable stay. They combine high end service w/ a feeling of being at home, I will most definitely be booking with them again. Highlights: Spa inclusion w/ room stay (sauna, steam bath all pools especially heated outdoor!) location: coastal pathway to St Charles. Nature walks, no cars to everything...

"The Alverton is the perfect place to stay for exploring Cornwall and surrounds or for a peaceful get away. The hotel and grounds are lovely - our room was spacious with a sitting area in front of a large window overlooking to courtyard. The restaurant had a great ambience and food was delicious and well presented; relatively small range of choices but fresh and interesting; breakfast was plentiful and al a carte for hot food definitely an advantage. Availability of fresh Sandwiches in the bar...
