Check in was easy, got the code the day of. Close to the beach and right next to skinny’s. Quiet area and you don’t really hear the neighbors.

Location was great, but not impressed with the rental teams scheduling.

Great location, if you’re ok with using the busier public beach access. It’s very convenient to grocery shopping, liquor store, drug store, etc. There are also a few near by restaurants. My only complaints are that they scheduled the delivery of a new fridge while we were there. Our “heads up” was a text the day before stating Lowe’s would be swapping it out. Keep in mind, there was nothing wrong with the one we had. So, since we had food in the fridge, there were three times that maintenance and/or Lowe’s had to enter the house. First to move the fridge we had to the very small living room. Then the delivery. And last picking the old one up. I still don’t understand why they couldn’t have Lowe’s deliver it to them, and then let maintenance swap it out in the turn over window. The old fridge was the rentals loaner. But instead, we felt like we had to be at the house all three times. Now, the maintenance guys were amazing and so very kind…this is NOT a complaint on them. Rather a complaint on the one that was texting me all day while I was trying to enjoy the beach the day before. I even asked her why it couldn’t be done on Saturday since no one would be there. Her response was that it was because they were using a third party. A simple solution would have been to delivery it to the place that they keep the 10ish other loaner fridges and swap it on a day that the unit wasn’t being rented or while it was being cleaned. It just took a lot of our “vacation” time away from us.

Lovely stay

The cottage was the perfect size and in a great location. Close to eatery, grocery store, beach and the free trolley stops. Will definitely stay again if we are ever in the area again.

We had a great experience staying at the cottage. We were worried about the location at first but it turned out to be quiet and private even though it was located next to a restaurant and main road. The proximity to the beach was excellent and the property was well taken care of.

Good location for beach, needs more functional amenities

Location is good, about 1 1/2 blocks from public beach. Concierge very responsive. The unit is in need of lighting inside house and outside by pool area. Property should be stocked better with the following: hooks for clothes in obvious areas inside and by pool, towel bars, a mat and shoe tray given sand from beach, teaspoons, salt and pepper and two chairs missing from kitchen table (4 shown in VRBO picture but two were in the unit and 1 had broken back). Tile floors in unit were swept but not mopped so quite dirty. Washer and dryer in unit but dryer left black marks on white clothes.

Beautiful Property with Awesome Location

This property was all I could have hoped for and more! The reason I say that is due to location and also the outdoor space. We are a family of 4 with 2 adult daughters. I looked at every available property and determined this was our best option based on strongly positive review and also the photos. I wanted something close to the beach, something with outdoor space and, quite honestly, something with adequate seating at night to watch a family movie! This place was amazing! I was most concerned about the outdoor space but we were treated to poolside seating for six in nice lounge chairs and a table and chairs for six and a BRAND NEW grill. Also, they don't claim to have beach chairs but they had beach chairs and a wagon. We loved hanging out on the super close beach to watch the sunset and then having dinner back at "our place" poolside. Another important factor for me was seating around the TV. This place had photos that showed a 3 seater sofa and 2 chairs (seating for at least 5 adults) and that was exactly the case except all 4 of us fit on the sofa. That was a huge factor for me. The shower was incredible. The kitchen had pots, pans and utensils galore and Publix was a quick walk to the left down the street and via a lovely shaded sidewalk! We had 2 parking spaces though we only had one car. It really is a fantastic location. We rented bikes and we had a paddle board excursion. My family had a wonderful time. The photos of the pool area and outdoor seating do not do this place justice. Super close to the beach, this place also boasts poolside seating all day where those who are so inclined can be in the shade. Truly, this is a gem. My only regret is that we had to leave. Thank you for a wonderful experience! Hope to return! Ten Stars.

Great stay!

This was our second stay at this property. The location is outstanding, only about 1/2 block to the beach and within easy walking distance to groceries and many restaurants. Pool is private and well-heated, a must for Florida winters. Would definitely stay again.

Relaxing vacation

Very clean. Loved the location, just across the beach (we were concerned with out kids 7 and 9 that the road we needed to cross would be really busy since is 1 of the 2 entries into the island and it was not... we were pleasantly surprised) our stay happened to coincide with tropical storm/hurricane ETA. The pool was a blessing for the kids on the 2 days it was safe to go to the beach. Nice kitchen had all we needed to make meals.. , publix is not a block and a half from cottage could walk there. Skinnys hamburger is literally right next door, good burgers. Overall we are really happy with our experience there we were really happy on how clean the place was, and the convenience of the location.

The location is as described - beautiful private pool, cozy cottage feeling inside and literally across the street from public beach access. Lots of dining options nearby, grocery store, etc. Perfect!

Great location and cottage!

This beach cottage has a great central location, has all the amenities you need while on vacation, rental company was east to communicate with, check in and out was very easy, cottage was clean, and I would recommend this and would stay here again.

Exceeded our expectations!

The location and the property was exceptional. The home was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Walked only across the street to the beach, enjoyed the restaurant steps from the cottage. Highly recommend!!

Charming Cottage in a Great Location

The location of this rental is absolutely perfect! Steps away from the beach, and close to the supermarket (one of the friendliest Publix I've ever seen fwiw) and restaurants - we didn't get in our car the whole time we were there. Despite it's central location, it is also really quiet - we could hear a dull hum from the road, but that's it. I was a bit concerned that we were so close to Skinny's that there would be a lot of noise, but that was definitely not the case. Although the cottage is small, it is nicely arranged - our group of 5 never felt crowded at all. The pool was also nice, and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Great for kids

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. Our kids, 5 and 2, love it! Manatee Beach being across the street and the private pools are enough to keep them entertained all day!

The Private Pool!! ❤️

We really enjoyed the luxury of the private pool. Although the weather was cool during our stay the water was a great temp. Close to the beach and the best burgers in town. The unit had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.
