Absolute Gem on the Coorong

We stayed for family getaway and I could not fault this Holiday house , the location was exceptional the view was amazing , just to sit and watch the wildlife was great and to have your own Jetty was the cherry on the Cake , I highly recommend a stay here and will be back again

Beautiful relaxing family getaway but no towels

Properly is really lovely and relaxing, I would have liked to give it full five stars. Lovely open decks on both ends, one looking out onto water, and the other into open fields - was great to have both depending on time of day and one was really breezy and the other better when it's too windy. Loved the games room with books and games and a second large TV, was great for kids. Also the fully fenced yard at the back was terrific. House had everything you need, except for towels for some reason, which was very inconvenient. The communication with real estate was a bit frustrating though. First we got an email saying that we had to pick up keys from real estate in Victor harbor, which is nowhere near the property and that we had to bring linen even though I knew we paid a fee for this. I called up to complain, as Victor harbor was not on our way at all and is not even the closest real estate there. The lady on the phone was very nice and explained the house actually had a lock box and linen was definnetely included as we paid a fee. She followed with another email confirming this. I wonder though if I didn't call up, whether this would be followed up or if we would drive all the way to Victor harbor only to find the real estate is actually closed on the Saturday. Additionally when we arrived, we realized there wasn't a single towel onsite and had spend the little time we had left of the day shopping for towels after the long drive. We have stayed in hundreds of properties and never did 'linen included' mean sheets but no towels. This should have been explicitly communicated, but is also unnecessary, we would have been happy to pay extra for towels. It is very inconvenient not to include this, as it is usually a given in most properties.
