Lovely large property although a bit dated & faded.Bathrooms and kitchen were very clean.The view was excellent.We had an enjoyable time.

Property was no frills neat and tidy. Was good for what we wanted but with stairs in the middle of the room would not like to stay with young children. Tea/coffee and small milk was supplied but it would have been nice to have a few other basics such as salt and pepper would have been nice.

A week of groundhog days…. Waking up to the beach, surfers, seals…. Beach walks with the dogs, neighbour hood walks, starry nights, puzzles and books. Our fifth visit was wonderful, hopefully stay number 6 isn’t too far away. Love it!

Overall very good. Nice & quiet. Only annoying thing was there was only 1 decent teaspoon & not enough washing up liquid. We had a great time & pretty pleased with our choice.

We have stayed in this property on a few occasions due to the location and proximity to the beach. It is one of the older 'shacks' but good to see that the property was clean and everything was functioning including a new TV.

Although property is dated, it was clean and tidy. Amenities were certainly satisfactory. Location is fantastic and close to other communities along the Peninsula. A perfect spot for a family holiday close to the beach.

What a great holiday house. All the comfort you need with stunning views of the beach. Our dog also loved it as it was such an ideal spot for long walks on the beach.

Just over 12 months ago we stayed here and suggested that some simple elbow grease and care would help this house that is situated in a perfect position. This time the toilet seat had been fixed - that was the only thing. All doors out onto the balcony (where the view is tremendous) are difficult to open, there was mould in the bathroom sink (and a bottle of bleach under the sink - clearly nobody knows how to use it). It is such a shame that a venue like this has been allowed to become so run down. We thought we would give it a second chance but I can't see that we will be back. It is a crying shame because we love being there. We don't mind old - hey we are old ourselves - but clean is necessary. This place needs just needs someone to love it.

Property a bit run down. Don't open bedroom sliding door screen , as the screen may fall out on hit you on the head , as it did with my daughter! ( signs of poor attempt to repair it previously) Upstairs toilet seat is all wrong, too small for bowl. Bedroom doors don't shut properly. Windows are in need of cleaning ! Coffee pod machine not working. The kettle wasn't working, however Bev, our host, quickly brought us a new one . All other whitegoods are great! No tea towels provided, No clothes dryer. No bath mats. Pile of hard rubbish at back of house. Rear lawn full of grass seed ( very dangerous for pets). Rear garden hose is useless, couldn't hose down dogs of beach sand and my car! Internet is good, Netflicks is not working as it should though. No sanitizer provided, you would think this mandatory in 2020! Vacuum cleaner blocked! it took for ever to vacuum anything! Overall it is a budget stay, you always get what you pay for!

Tehran Beach Shack is a comfortable two storey home, great location, great for families. Perfect access to the beach (just across the road !) All appliances and eminities worked well.
