Holiday Paradise

Nathan's place was perfection. My husband and I stayed with our two teenage sons and my elderly mother, who has mobility issues. This place was perfect for us. Beautiful, super clean, spacious, modern, very well equipped, easy access to both the lift and the stairs. And the most amazing views! You can see both pool areas and the beach from all balconies. The ocean was less than a 2 minute walk from the front door, down the stairs and to the sand. My mother could easily set up under an umbrella by the pool whilst the rest of the family went between pool and beach all day. Check-in was super easy, the property and grounds are beautiful, quiet and very safe. Nathan responded to any query we had very quickly. There are umbrellas and beach chairs to rent right in front on the beach if you need it. There are 3 grocery stores a close drive away. The condo itself has a tv in every bedroom, and a huge one in the living room. The beds are amazing - very luxurious. Kitchen has every appliance you would need. The showers are lush, as are the towels provided. It really did feel like care and thought went in to this place. There are hairdryers, irons, spare blankets, fans and beach accessories in the hall closest. So great. Check out is 11AM but we noticed the key code to the front door stopped working at 9AM. Thankfully my mother was still in the house to let us in from our last beach walk. We had a great stay and would definitely come here again and again. Thanks for everything!

Family get away

The property was precisely as advertised. It was clean and attractively decorated. The location could not be better. The unit is situated so that access to both outdoor pools and beach is very easy. Everyone from the one year old to 70 something grandparents easily traveled between throughout the day. View of the ocean is beautiful. We had a lovely 2 week stay.

We stayed in the same property a few years ago and loved it, but loved it even more with the updates. Beautiful accommodations with wonderful views. Great location- Rented bicycles and able to ride to the store and restaurants from our location.

This was the perfect HHI vacation. The condo location both within Palmetto Dunes and on the property itself is absolutely perfect. I was initially weary because there was not a bar or restaurant in Villamar but we didn’t moss that at all. You don’t need one when staying in Palmetto Dunes because there are plenty of options in walking distance. Pools and amenities were great, we used everything from the grills to the gym. Excellent views from the balconies. Only wish our suggestion is that the bedroom of the dining area has a king bed instead of a queen. Remodel was phenomenal also!

Great location

Location is excellent. Some niggles...no welcome package provided by host. Maybe we're old school but would have really appreciated a one or two page guide instead of hearing "it's online". Entrance passes not available when we arrived...gate contacted host and it was sorted quickly but an inconvenience. WARNING predatory HOA...make sure parking pass is on dashboard-our car was towed!

Amazing Location

The Location of this condo is one of the best. Having 3 bedrooms for a family stay is great. However as someone who's family has owned a resort, on a beach, for the last 50 years, the cleaning crew REALLY needs improvement. All of the high touch areas were visibly dirty. The comforters on 2 of the 4 beds were stained, one had 2 blood stains on them. There was sand all over the unit upon our arrival, and there was no vacuum to clean it up. As other's mentioned, there was 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom and 1 garbage bag - no dish or laundry pods. But that is the norm for most rentals, so we came prepared for that. There was an alarming amount of mold in the property. I'm aware that in that climate, and especially at the end of the season, it may be difficult to keep at bay when you have tenants who leave the doors open or don't wipe down walls, but that is where a better cleaning company would be a necessity. This is our 4th time staying at Villamare, at this time of year, and none of the other units we've stayed at had that kind of mold. The showers also had orange mold that needed a good scrub. For someone who is sensitive to mold, I would recommend a different property. For us, we only slept there and had breakfast at the rental, most of the other times, we were out on the island, at the beach, or at the pool. A+ location. The property's condition wouldn't stop me from staying there in the future, but it is still something I think other's should be prepared for.

Nice location and views of ocean/pool. Comfortable stay. Organized kitchen lots of storage space. A few members of our family are older with mobility issues. Villamare 2023

The location was excellent. We loved the location of the unit with it’s easy access to everything. It’s not our first time staying at Villamare and/or other similar units in Palmetto Dunes, but our first time renting with VRBO. Our only complaint is that due to mechanical/technical problems, we did not have the use of the microwave oven and clothes dryer our entire stay. Thus making things somewhat inconvenient but not unbearable.

Great location, good layout

We had a good stay at this property. Overall great layout for two families (we had 5 kids and 4 adults and it worked out ok). Everything was clean, although the unit could use a vacuum for sand and some cosmetic issues existed in the kitchen, but unit was priced appropriately. The only things I would suggest is to remove any remodeling extra paint/supplies from the bathroom cabinets to give room to guests, and to give guests heads up that we owe $25 per car upon arrival. Great property, access to beach etc, though.

Girls trip

Property was great and in a great location. 9 women on our trip. We were provided one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, one garbage bag and no beach towels or laundry detergent. I contacted the owner on day 2 of our 7 night stay and he never replied back or brought more supplies. So just know that you are on your own once you get there.
