The VRBO was not clean. Toilet paper was in the commode, a pill either, medication or vitamin, lay on the kitchen table, an empty water bottle was on the floor in a bedroom, loose change was on a bedroom stand. All this in our first five minutes. The place looked like it was lived in and not cleaned prior to our arrival. The gas grill was very dirty and rusty from the previous. I spent forty-five minutes wire brushing grates, burners, flame deflectors, everything getting it ready for use, just to find out the propane tank was empty, so I bought a refill. This was useless because the regulator for the tank did not work. There was not enough heat to roast a marshmallow. Many other things did not work, like the lock for the front door, the code to the beach closet, the latch and lock to a second, floor bathroom. Even the description advertising the place as "very clean and updated throughout" were incorrect or misleading. The place is not updated throughout, there may be some improvements to the place, like vinyl planking, but it is not updated throughout. And it is not a "new kitchen", maybe new appliances but the kitchen is not new, it looks to have the original tile and cabinets (1980"s). Same thing with the bedrooms. Even the "Great Room" in reality is the living room but the advertisement, implies two separate rooms.I found this place to be over hyped but underdelivered on all that was promised. Trust me, you can find a much better place at the same price.
