Family Vacation

This house was perfect for a family vacation. Has security 24/7 so we felt super safe. Beautiful home and very clean. Nice walk to the beach surround by trees. We will definitely be back!

Vacation getaway

We were all very impressed with the amenities, spaciousness and cleanliness during our stay. The house had everything you could need to accommodate all ages (beach wagons, pool and beach toys, ample amounts of beach chairs, device charging stations, etc) except a bottle and wine opener! (we left one for the house) and coffee filters (left those for future guests as well). Our kids are already begging to stay there again).

Family Fun

This property was a great escape. We were close to the beach and all the beach chairs on the property came in clutch! I highly recommend this property. We had a total of 15, 2 families and we were comfortable. We had a leak in the sink that was immediately resolved. Great experience!

Great location. Beautiful accommodations

Family of 6 enjoyed this beautiful and well appointed home in a quiet gated enclave near Folly Field beach. The porches on every level were great spots to relax and enjoy the mornings. The pool and the great pool lounge area was beautiful and a great spot for the whole family. Although the walk to the beach was less than 10 minutes, we got a golf cart to help carry all the beach supplies.

Great place!

We had a great stay! Really enjoyed the awesome pool and it was nice to have access to both a grill and smoker for cooking. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that the garbage disposal was leaking water when we showed up and wasn’t able to be fixed during our stay. Other than that would definitely come back!

Great weekend away!

One of the best properties we've stayed at! The owners were incredibly helpful, letting us come by early to drop off a few things before picking up some of the group at the airport. Additionally, the house was well stocked with all of the amenities we needed (kitchen supplies, beach supplies, etc.) and in a great location. Will definitely look to stay here again when back in HHI!

Annual family week at the beach

We generally rent a house for a week together. We had never been to Hilton Head Island and rented this house based on the VRBO description. Our group amounted to 14 (8 adults and 6 children). The house and property were just right for our needs and the level of cleaniiness was excellent. The owner was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with (thanks Rick).

HHI 2022 family get together

We (4 families) totaling 17 persons had a wonderful time in HHI and the 29 sandcastle ct home was comfortable, pleasant and an incredible home away from home!!! Very spacious and accommodating for everyone. The outdoor living area was wonderful, specifically the patio and pool. The owners, Rick and Denise were quite responsive and helpful when minor issues/questions arise. Very grateful to them for having us stay at their home.

Amazing house for families

This house was perfect for 4 families! We had kids under 2 and it couldn’t have fit us better. The pool was great for days we wanted to stay at the house. And the walk to the beach was super easy. Rick was very quick to respond and helpful with suggestions. The house also has everything you need for little ones, no need to pack a ton! We definitely will be back!

Fun time

My husband and i were there with 4 other adult couples. The house was very nice. It was well stocked with everything you could need. There were tons of dishes, plenty of towels, laundry and dish soap, even spices and oils for cooking. Lots of pool toys. Refrigerator in garage for easy access from the pool. Walking distance to a restaurant, trolly, and beach. We had a great time there. Would recommend if you're in the area.

Perfect for our family vacation

This home was amazing for our family of 12 with kids ranging from 6 through 13. It’s an easy half a mile walk to the beach! The house was well equipped with everything we needed. That includes the kitchen, beach chairs, pool toys, etc. The heated pool was perfect for the kids to play. The multilevel home also allowed everyone a little separation when needed. We couldn’t of been more pleased with the check in process and the communication with the owners. This home is an A+!

Take me back to Folly Field! :)

Rick and his "Sandcastle by the Sea" was the perfect place for me and my family to stay over the holidays in Hilton Head! The house is beautiful and perfect for a group of all ages. The kids floor is amazing and full of toys and areas for them to sleep. The house has every pool toy imaginable and backup strollers, beach accessories. I can not say enough- we loved our visit and the location and Rick was super responsive, warm and kind. We will return!

Great place for friends and family!

The property is beautiful, with plenty of outdoor seating (though you'll be spread out for meals indoors). Rick was very responsive and helpful. There were tons of nice touches (a thank you note, toiletry kits, snacks) and all of the necessities were well stocked (kitchen things, towels, etc). It's a half mile walk to the beach, and overlooks a cute little pond with a playground nearby.
