Great Property, But Not Brand New
Our stay was very nice and the property has almost everything you need. It is tastefully decorated and well-equipped with plenty of space. I'm not sure the actual age, but I do think it is time to change the title of the listing since it does not present itself as brand new. Almost every seating surface has stains, there are serious indentations in the master mattress, and the cleaning between guests is cursory at best (layer of dust on the kitchen pendant lights, accumulation of dirt on the living room ceiling, return vent outside the other main level bedroom). Everything was in working order except the hot tub, which could be heated, but the blower and light did not work. Beach chairs are not provided, which I have never experienced at a Palmetto Dunes rental. I tried to rent some from HH Outfitters but they were not renting this time of year. I ended up buying two chairs and had to leave them (no one has room to bring their own or transport them home, so what can you do). For anyone looking to rent this house who is sensitive to smells like my family, this house is pretty good, and the laundry service does not use scented detergent on the towels and bedding. TVs don't operate per the provided instructions, which was frustrating. Positives: near the beach, nice pool, quiet, Beach Properties communicates well.
