Our family (8 adults, 6 children) had a delightful stay at 6 Brown Pelican. We utilized all 7 bedrooms. Great location. Easy access to the beach. The kids enjoyed the pool. We would consider returning in the future.

Beautiful house

We had 4 families and all enjoyed this house. The deck and view are fantastic. A family of deer visited daily. The dolphins are plentiful in this area too. The house was very clean and all wood/vinyl flooring was beautiful and easy to keep clean. The AC went out (1of3units) and they were very responsive. Someone was out the next day to replace a part and get it working again. It couldn’t be helped and they handed it well. The hot tub is not functional which was disappointing to find but the pool is really pretty and a great size. Also we let them know that one of the 2 driers doesn’t work. Didn’t discover this until wet clothes sat in it. Good thing they have 2 sets! 3 refrigerators was great to have also. I would definitely recommend this house.

Great family trip to Hilton Head

Enjoyed a great stay at 6 Brown Pelican with the family. We had 10 people (adults) plus our lab, Rose. House is in great shape, very clean and well equipped. The house managers were responsive and easy to deal with. A great experience and we would rent the house again.

Wonderful time at a wonderful home!!!

We were a family of 12 who all met at the beach for fall break. We had a great week! The house was perfect. Everyone who wanted their own bed had one. Lots of bathrooms! The kitchen was well stocked. So easy to cook in! Everything was clean and working. The two laundry rooms made laundry easy. We used the beach chairs in the closet instead of the ones we rented as they were much nicer. We did use the rental umbrellas though. The walk to the beach is shorter and easier than any condo we've ever stayed in. We took the bikes to the beach and had a blast. We paid to heat the hot tub and I highly suggest doing so. We really enjoyed it. Especially the little guys! We had planned to go out to eat several nights, but we all enjoyed eating out on the very large deck with super nice tables and chairs, that we ended up grilling out most nights. It was sooo nice to be able to bring our dog as he is part of the family. :). We just had a great time and are already talking about a return visit! You will not be disappointed in this house!!!

50th anniversary celebration

17 family members came to help celebrate our anniversary. Plenty of room, pool was great for the little ones. Easy walk to the beach! Easy walk to salty dog cafe and some shops! We rented bikes and beach chairs ahead of time! We used a personal chef to cook dinner one night which was awesome! So happy that we were all able to stay together without having to go to a resort! It was our own private resort! Our first time in Hilton Head! Beautiful area!

Fun family vacation

The house was so well laid out. Plenty of bed rooms and two large living areas. The location was perfect...beautiful views and just a short walk to tennis courts and The Salty Dog, a very popular restaurant. I highly recommend!

Loved the house and location. The local agents were most accommodating, helpful and responsive to any issue we raised. The only complaint was the condition of the house., especially for one this expensive. Too many items needed repair or replacement.

Out of this World Family Vacation

We gathered with a large group (a mom, her children, their grandchildren) and the space held us wonderfully. This is one of the few places on HHI (the only we've found in Sea Pines) that functions for a large group. There are three fridges, ample parking space, generous dining space to seat the entire group at once, and lots of shaded patio furniture under the deck. The pool is not as large as it appears in the photo (it looks olympic!), but it plenty of large with a variety of depths. The best thing about the pool for us was that it was half shaded until noon every day-- that's amazing when traveling in July with young children! The walk to the beach is one long wooden boardwalk, a 10 yard stretch of sand, then another long wooden boardwalk. Not a problem, just something I had to call to clarify about from the pictures. This location is about a five minute walk from Salty Dog (and trolley) and two streets over from the south beach beach club (basically a pavilion). The best things about this house for us was 1) 3 refrigerators 2) multiple gathering spaces 3) lots of designated kids' bedding areas--they loved playing in their own spaces 4) the pool 5) having a small yard beside the pool for catch 6) the fire pit. Beyond that, it's beautifully appointed and fully stocked with cookie sheets and everything you'd need to make a thanksgiving dinner, honestly. We've rented in Sea Pines for years and this one is pricey, but very very nice. The downsides of the house: it's large, so it echoes. Lots of showers, fewer bathtubs if that's an issue. Tvs everywhere (we didn't turn them on except for one movie night), and barn doors on the kids' bunk room (they weren't great at closing them all the way). Really nothing worth mentioning, honestly!

Large,new house with indoor and outdoor gathering spaces

We rented this house in June 2018 for a family reunion with 20 people. The house was perfect. Plenty of room, clean, all the amenities. We heated the hot tub but not the pool which was warm enough. The location in Sea Pines was great. The management company was very helpful and responsive. What a wonderful vacation!

The whole group thought that this was the "perfect vacation".

The only complaints that we had were; two clogged drains that were cleared by the plumber on Friday 5/4, one shower that could not reach a satisfactory temperature (on the ground level near the hot tub) and a heating element that needed to be replaced for the pool/hot tub (done on Tuesday 5/1 by Nicko the cool pool guy on ). Other than these items, the house was great and we all really enjoyed our stay. We would consider staying there again next year.

Truly spectacular

We rented this house in April 2018 for a wedding (the wedding itself was on the beach right out front and the reception was in the backyard). We had about 70 guests and the event was amazing; there was plenty of room for the caterers, dinner tables, and dance floor. Kids were able to be in the pool during a lot of the reception and the rest of the week. We got the pool heated and man, it is heated to about ninety degrees! We stayed in the house for several days after the wedding and enjoyed relaxing on the upper deck outside and throughout the very spacious and comfortable house. Tally and the rest of the management company, Coastal Home and Villa were responsive and helpful. What a memorable and wonderful experience.
