Great Renovated Condo

This was our second stay and the owner has made lots of improvements and upgrades. The condo was quiet, clean, and easy access. The walk to the beach is also manageable for those with physical challenges and does not include steps. We were very satisfied.

Great Rental for a family of 3

The condo was more beautiful than it was described on the VRBO listing. It was fully renovated. Great taste! It was conveniently located on the 2nd floor with a great view of the sea and the beach over the beautiful landscape. Previously, I rented in the same complex for 2 times. The owner organized everything very well and he communicated all the details ahead of time. I really appreciated it. The amenities were great. We did not use the bikes but there were 2. We utilized all the beach furniture. they were well kept. there were tons of books in their library cases. the sofa bed was comfortable (as my teenager reported)2 bathrooms were operational, well stacked with basic supplies, very functional and sparkling clean. I think it was OK pricing from the consumer point of view considering it is the high season for families. I will definitely consider to rent again if this unit is available.

Wonderful time!

We had a great experience from arrival to departure. Condo was beautiful exactly as pictured. The grounds are lovely and we enjoyed seeing deer each day. One evening there were eight deer laying in the grass right below our unit. Loved being right on the ocean along with enjoying the pools. Hope to return.

Great area. Great condo

Overall the condo was very clean, nicely updated.Everyone we spoke to was very nice and the staff was exceptional.I would'nt however list it as ocean front or beach front. A more accurate description would be ocean view. Owner communication was superb...A little side note, the visit from the deer every evening was definitely a plus..

Perfect stay

This is our 5th year staying at this property and always a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, ocean views from the balcony. We appreciated the updated bathroom which was needed, but even without the update we would have stayed again. Villa is stocked with anything you could need. Beach chairs and bikes are an added bonus. We’ll be back

HH Vacation

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this condo. Beautiful location. The home was tastefully decorated and the views of the grounds and ocean are stunning. Each evening we were able to watch deer feeding below our balcony. It was wonderful having availability of beach chairs, beach umbrella and bikes. The owners were wonderful and easy to communicate with. We look forward to staying here again!

Love this place.

Best of the beach!!

Fix the damn elevator!!!!!!

One very irritating item was the elevator. Worked SAT on arrival. Mostly DOWN on Sun/ Mon / Tuesday. And down part of Fri. Totally unacceptable! Would never stay in this bldg again unless they provide proof that the elevator was properly maintained. We were on the third floor (first was the garage). I pity the poor souls on the fifth!!

Everything was awesome. Apartment layout and functionality, kitchen, balcony, pool, ocean view, ocean access, the beach. The surrounding area has a lot to offer and being able to bike most places is great.

Perfect condo choice

This is the perfect condo. We loved the location, the beach view and the privacy of the deck. Very clean, responsive owners. Everything was just as described and pictured. Showers were amazing. Surprised at all the deer! Pool is very nice, grounds are gorgeous and there's the beach...incredible stay. So nice that you have chairs, umbrella and bikes for guests.

Fabulous stay!

What a wonderful treat to spend a week in this great unit in Palmetto Dunes. The unit was super clean and when we had questions the owners were incredibly responsive. It was well appointed in the kitchen so we were able to cook for ourselves. Great bonus to have 2 bikes for our use - that was great fun! We could see the water from the balcony, so even when we weren't actually on the beach we could still sense it. Will definitely try to reserve this unit if we are lucky enough to head back to HHI. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful stay!!!

We’ve stayed in the complex before and loved it! This unit did not disappoint!!! Clean, comfy, and had everything we needed for our stay-having the chairs and locker for beach/pool gear was fantastic!! There is not a cart, and the walk to the waters edge is quite far (the property is on the beach, but the beach is very wide), so might be a good idea to bring one. We had our toddler with us, so didn’t get use out of the bikes this trip, but hopefully by next year we will be able to-the property is beautiful and very bike friendly. The pool for this building and the one next to it is our little’s favorite part!!! 0-entry and perfect for the little ones just learning to swim, as well as adults!!! I reached out a couple of times with questions, and Dan was so wonderful and responsive!! It was the perfect stay!!! And even though peak season, our unit/pool/beach area wasn’t crowded!! (It does take a little patience getting in and out of Palmetto Dunes, as well as all over HH, during the holidays, but that is expected and not a deterrent in the least!!) Hope to be back next year! (Note: be sure if using gps, plug in Palmetto Dunes, and then only after you arrive, and collect your parking pass, enter the building address…it tends to take you to the resident only entrance otherwise-same when exiting…the other gates only open/close for residents…always use the main entrance…we learned this the hard way on our first trip to the complex, so this time it was smooth sailing…).

Best Location on the Island

We have stayed in a couple different places on the island, and this location beats them all hands down. We were near everything yet it felt secluded. The beach wasn’t too crowded at all and the pool wasn’t either. The condo itself is in a fantastic location near the elevator. The only downside to our stay was that the direct beach access for the condo from the parking garage to the beach path was blocked off by scaffolding. We had to walk around the garage and in the grass to get to the path to the pool/beach, but I know that would just be temporary. Otherwise the ease of access to everything would be fantastic! We enjoyed the condo and views! We saw several deer each night with the beach in the background. Lovely!
