Family gathering under the Spanish Moss.

My wife and I brought our entire family, three married children, six grand children, and a mother-n-law/great grandmother to Hilton Head for our 40th anniversary. House was awesome! Beds very comfortable. Space to spare. Kids loved the bunk room and the pool was a big hit. Adults loved the hot tub. Short walk to the beach. Golf courses all around. Bike ride around the neighborhood under the large moss covered oaks was another treat. We highly recommend this property!

Beautiful Property but Misleading Listing

The house itself was beautifully kept and in nice working order. What was frustrating was on the listing they claim you receive a credit towards beach equipment, however, upon looking into this it's actually false advertisement. The beach equipment rental company tacks on a LARGE service fee simply for using the credit given. Therefore, there is ABSOLUTELY NO SAVINGS for the customer. If you bypass the credit option on their site you aren't charged the service fee and it ends up being almost the exact dollar amount if you were to use the credit. This is frustrating for a couple reasons: 1. It's misleading and false advertisement. No one wants to be lied to. 2. If you're traveling by plane (which we were) you have limited room for beach gear and depend on rental companies nearby. But I refuse to spend money at a business who is simply trying to scam the customer. I brought this issue up to the house property/listing company and they said they'd look into it. No idea where it landed but the fact they are listing the house with a beach equipment credit is garbage. Needless to say, there is plenty of beach equipment at the house that has been left behind from other renters so not worth renting ahead of time.

High end property with few flaws

Lovely home. Several things “broken”, which was disappointing. Called agency, who sent a repair guy, but only to fix one thing!! Not impressive! The door that everyone took to get outside to pool, opened about 100 times a day, would not close. When told, they responded by explaining that the door DID close, really, if you just kept closing it (3 times). Try explaining that to a 7 and 10 year old! Also, the hot tub would not get hot, which we assumed was a part of the rental, a hot hot tub! Right? Also, a decorating tip…remove ALL fake flower arrangements! They make the decor look cheap, and are not in good taste. Just our personal opinion. They look very dated! Otherwise, a great place, and well located!

Great Christmas Vacation Place

Our stay was fantastic! The layout of the home had space for all 16 of us and we never felt cramped. The kids had their own play space along with a quiet reading area for adults. The kitchen was truly a full service kitchen with all pots, pans, utensils, dinnerware and silverware to accommodate all of us. We splurged and had the pool and hot tub heated... that was the highlight of the trip for all of us especially the kiddos. The walk to the beach was only a short five minutes with very few people on the beach. Had a few issues that were dealt with very fast and efficiently. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a memorable vacartion with our family.

Great Family destination

The house at 1A Sea Lane was everything that was described and more. The grounds were very well kept and the house was very clean. There were some appliances that needed updating/repair, but overall we would definitely stay here again!!

Friends Getaway

This trip was postponed from last year, but the wait was worth it. The house was clean and looked exactly as pictured! Large enough for 5 couples and plenty of room to do your own thing. The outdoor and pool area was another great spot for swimming or relaxing. We even grilled one night! Close to the beach walkway and the amenities offered in Palmetto Dunes resort. The management company was so accommodating and helpful also. Highly recommend this property.

Amazing!

As a VRBO owner myself I am very picky about the properties I stay at. This house has it all! We had a family reunion and this house was absolutely perfect in every way! I am used to bringing all my own cooking and kitchen equipment . Totally not necessary as this house is fully stocked with EVERYTHING you need to have a gathering. The entrance to the beach is a 3 min walk !! I really cannot recommend this property enough! Great property managers too’ 5 star!

Phenomenal house and property

We recently stayed at this incredible house for a family gathering. It was the best equipped and most beautiful vacation home we have experience to date! I own and rent vacation properties myself so I am very picky about the accommodations that I stay in. Not only were the property managers prompt, courteous and helpful, the entire experience was smooth, easy and totally seamless. Every thing you could want in a rental house was at this particular property. The house is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need :-) The close walk to the beach made it the perfect choice for our family and the location was superb. The pool, hot tub and backyard are a veritable tropical oasis! Everything was five star! We couldn’t of asked for a better location, home or ambience for our family gathering! AWESOME

This was our families second stay in this home. We enjoyed ourselves so much in this beautiful home last year for our family Thanksgiving celebration we decided to spend Thanksgiving here again this year. With all of the special circumstances that we all are facing this year with COVID19 this home was still a perfect place to stay. Nothing short of paradise

House was beautiful and had everything we needed. Everything was what was featured. Very short walk to beach and great for bike riding and privacy. Our group was small but larger groups could really be comfortable here. Would love to come back. Becky was a delight to deal with and Palmetto Dunes is in a great location on the island.

Beautiful spacious home excellent location!

This home exceeded our expectations. It lived up to photos and reviews. A stunning spacious home! Huge well equipped kitchen and great BBQ area. We had 7 couples all getting ready for a wedding. Lots of bathrooms and great spaces to hang out together. Short walk to beautiful beach! Pool area and hot tub were awesome! Very safe and beautiful landscaping. The beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows and excellent well controlled air conditioning. I would rent it again!!

50th Anniversary Bash

Beautiful property. 11 of us enjoyed the pool and the big, open, well appointed home. 3 car garage. 2 big refrigerators, huge cook stove and big outdoor kitchen prompted is to eat many meals at the house, saving more time for family, pool, beach and games.

First visit to Hilton Head Island

We rented the home at 1A Sea Lane for a vacation with our children, their spouses, and our grandchildren (17 people total). The home had plenty of space for all. When traveling with small children, we prefer to eat our meals at the house. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking for large groups. In addition, the kitchen had a refrigerator large enough to hold all the food, and a refrigerator in the garage as well as a small refrigerator outside near the pool for the beverages. During our stay, we reported three issues with the home. 1. The door latch for the door that is naturally used as the central doorway to the pool did not work well -- the latch did not catch and was therefore difficult for the children to securely close the door. In their response, they said they knew about the issue, and we should use a different door. 2. Later I reported an issue with the refrigerator in the Butler pantry and an extremely slow sink drain - I did not get any response to either of these issues. 3. Finally, perhaps this is normal in the south, but we also found at least two cockroaches in the house. About the area: We rented bikes but found the Palmetto Dunes area way too busy to take young children biking. If we were ever to visit this area again, we would omit the bike rentals. In addition, people would ride their bikes in the dark with no lights, which made walking a night a bit more difficult. The path to the beach is very close to the house - and just a 5-minute walk to the beach. And here too, the path to the beach is not bike-friendly.
