  • Welcome to The Outrigger!! You will love our 3BR 2Bathroom Home super central located in Downtown Hilo. Our home is well equipped and ready to be discovered by you your family and friends! We have ceiling fans in every room and AC`s in each Bedroom. Total of two Bathrooms. You have your own Washer/Dryer and access to our very well equipped kitchen. Come stay with us and Paddle into your next Adventure! Quiet and Close to Town!

    This is an urban gem - right in downtown but still quiet and away from the main strip of the town. You can walk to restaurants, grocery store bars or the Farmers Market and get fresh Fruits and Vegetables.

The host was easy to communicate with. The home was very clean. The beds and furniture were comfortable . It was a good location for touring Volcano National Park. We would definitely stay there again.

The Outrigger was perfect for our stay. It was just 2 blocks from Bayfront soccer fields so it made it very easy for us to get to and form the field for the Volcano Soccer Tournament. The home was very clean and offered a lot of amenities (Beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, air conditioning, large washer and dryer).The host was very easy to communicate with and was very responsive. Would highly recommend this place.

Property was exactly what we needed for our stay in Hilo. Easy parking, walking distance to Hilo Town, had everything one would need in a house. Comfortable, safe, and clean; would stay again.

When we entered, the house was so inviting and the home was exactly how they described. It was very clean, beds were so comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the AC was cold and kept the house extremely comfortable. What stood out was the little things. There was coffee, cream, and sugar which paired perfectly with the bag of local cookies they had for us (so good). The bathrooms all had high quality soap and shampoo. Oh, I forgot to mention the communication with the host was outstanding. If you’re ever in Hilo, I highly recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed..

Hilo vacation

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at this property. Everything was as described, it was incredibly clean, comfortable, quiet, and well stocked for our stay in Hilo. There was plenty of space for everyone, and check in was a breeze. Highly recommend and we would stay here again.

Walking distance to downtown. The host was super responsive and left a thoughtful welcome package. The beds are springy and a bit on the softer side. The kitchen is well provisioned.

Spacious accommodations and gracious host. We arrived earlier than anticipated and host allowed us to enter early. The place was tidy, and we were provided with welcome coffee and cookies. A/C was great in the bedrooms but none dedicated to Living/Dining area which was a bit warmer. It suited our needs nicely. Two drawbacks were things outside of host control - noisy birds/frogs/wildlife and the neighborhood was a bit sketch (but we did not feel unsafe). Highly recommend.
