  • Experience convenient and comfortable living staying at our Seashell Ohana ONE! Our newly built 2 bedroom 2 bath duplex. Located centrally in Hilo. You will be just 3 miles from Hilo airport, Liliuokalani Park and Garden, Carlsmith Beach Park, and many other popular attractions and restaurants. This spacious house sleeps up to 6. Enjoy the proximity to Volcanoes National Park, Rainbow Falls, Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden and much more!

    Start your vacation at this centrally located home, surrounded by shopping centers, restaurants, parks, and beaches! If you are visiting Hilo for business, this space is ideal as well, with plenty of table space for working and high-speed internet through Spectrum (200mbps). No cooking in this unit. We provide coffee machine, microwave, juicer, refrigerator, mug, plates and silverwares in this kitchenette. 2 walk-in showers. In addition to the 3 full size beds available in this home, there are one futon sofas (in the bedroom) and one sofa in the living room to accommodate extra guests; please note there are no extra beds. Let us know if you would like to request air mattress.

    Please Note: As this is a multi-unit property, guests may occasionally hear normal household noise from the upstairs unit, including footsteps and general activity.

    Private parking is on-site at the entrance of the apartment. Please let us know if you will need space for more than 2 vehicles . Quiet hours between 9pm and 7am. Shared laundry room available on property

    Average weather in Hilo is 84F/64F. Most the Hilo residents do not install air conditioning in the house. -** Air conditioning** in the living room only. No additional fees.
    -Please read and abide the house rules booklet at the property.
    -Please keep noise levels down between 9pm and 7am.
    -House-keeping may be available at an additional fee for longer stays.

Five Stars! This place was very clean, smelled amazing everytime we walked in the doors. The AC was very cold, unit was well stocked with the basics (trash bags, laundry basket, dishes, toilet paper& paper towels) The host MAGGIE was excellent. Quick response with any questions or concerns. Overall EXCELLENT stay. Will definitely book again.Con: Only negative was there was no sink in the kitchen

Convenient location to go to the volcano

We only stayed for one day, but it was fantastic. The location was near everything we wanted to do. The place was very clean and spacious.

Pros: Property was clean and smelled good as soon as you walk in. Big property, nice parking, quiet area, good location near major attractions. Cons: No sink in the kitchen. Especially annoyed that they ask for you to clean all the dishes before you leave. I don’t know what they’re thinking. Bathrooms are on the smaller side, and each bathroom has the smallest sink you’ll ever see, which would not have been a major problem if they did not ask you to clean the dishes in them. They also gave me the wrong wifi info and it took several tries getting a hold of them to get the right info.

Hawaii Trip

It was a great place to stay while vacationing for the first time in Hawaii. Although we were only really there to sleep, it was comfortable and quiet for relaxing. Plenty of space and clean. I would definitely stay there again if and when I come back to Hawaii.

Quick stay in hilo

Place was great for a quick stop. A bit warm in the bedrooms with the ac unit in the living room. Easy to find and great location for Volcano National Park

Convenient Stay near National Park

My wife and I spent two nights here while visiting Hilo and Volcanoes National park. The property was adequate for what we needed and the price was just right. Check-in was very easy and the property had a convenient location. The beds were smaller than expected, but comfortable. Overall, we would return.

Sweet suite

Quaint and comfortable stay in the middle of Hilo town. Complimentary amenities, including a pack and play, to make traveling with an infant so much easier! Owner was great with communication and even adjusted pricing to match another listing.

Perfect place to stay in Hilo

Wonderful property! The setup of the unit we stayed in was perfect and well kept up. We were pleasantly surprised it came with a fridge, microwave, etc, as it was not in the description. The communication from the management and owners was quick and pleasant. I am definitely recommending the location to family and friends.

Modern, updated unit with nice furniture, beds and linens. Easy to find and access. Central Hilo location. Our otherwise excellent stay was disturbed by rude guests upstairs talking loudly, smoking outside our window and stomping around when we were trying to sleep. I would recommend this unit if you are looking for a nice, two bedroom place to stay in Hilo.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were four of us staying in the apartment, which was very clean and spacious. We appreciated having two bathrooms, and the location was truly convenient. Being able to wake up in the middle of the night to see the volcano erupt was a special experience. We did notice that the kitchenette did not have a sink making cleaning dishes awkward, and the beds were a very firm. Additionally, the futon wasn't comfortable enough to serve as a fourth bed. Nonetheless, we truly appreciated our time there and enjoyed our stay overall.

Your accommodations were beautiful. Got confused on the location of entry key pad. One call and you were very helpful. The only issue was the gob of long black hair in the bottom of your beautiful shower. Taught 2 taxis drivers your location. Stan's taxi was awesome!
