"Even though our trip south didn’t go quite as planned thanks to the awful weather, this property ended up being a bright spot in the storm. The home was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed to make the best of it. But what truly stood out were the hosts—they were incredibly gracious, flexible, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable despite the unexpected changes. "We stayed at the Bird House for my daughter graduation weekend from Texas State University. Great location - peaceful vibe in the pecan trees, yet just 12 minutes from TXST campus. House is cute and has everything we needed (except dishwasher!!). We enjoyed swinging in the porch hammocks, walking the property, and lounging indoors. Definitely a great getaway! "
