Highlands Home

This home was beautiful! The kitchen was stocked with all we needed for cooking several meals, the beds were very comfortable, the layout was perfect!! We enjoyed our Christmas getaway. It truly was like being home. Decor was nice, and we all had a wonderful time. The sunrise and sunset views are amazing!! I would definitely recommend this home and would love to return soon!!

Just Perfect

We stayed for four nights with our grown children and the house was just perfect! The location, the views, the spaciousness, and even the decor were amazing. The space was also well stocked with kitchen tools and very updated appliances. We look forward to going back!

Relief from the heat!

This house and location were a welcome relief from the heat for all of us. It worked beautifully for our whole family and the grandchildren loved the bunk beds! The covered outdoor space was our favorite gathering spot. The view is wonderful!

Spectacular Home and View

We had a wonderful 60th birthday in this lovely home. Plenty of room for 4 couples and several young adults to stay comfortably. The view is spectacular where one can catch the sunrise and sunset. The owner was extremely helpful and the response time was quick when we had a question. We will be back to enjoy this beautiful home and all it has to offer.

Thanksgiving Stay

We had a great stay and the house fit 14 total guests no problem. Beds were comfortable. Furnishings are good quality. Family room is very welcoming and enjoyable central spot for family gatherings. Host was very responsive to any issues / requests. We hope to be back.

Beautiful Mountain House

We enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous mountain house! Our daughter got married at Old Edwards, The Farm, and our family enjoyed the week preparing, relaxing and spending family time on the deck looking at the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains! We also fell in love with the Highlands, full of waterfalls, hikes and the cutest little town with amazing shops!! It was a special week for our family! This house was the amazing ! Thank you to the owners who were so accommodating !!

Perfect vacation spot

Our family vacations every summer in mountains, mostly in Highlands area. This lovely spacious house was the best fit yet—3 King BR and 3 other nicely appointed comfortable space for sleeping.. Wonderful kitchen with all amenities adjacent to huge deck with fire pit and amazing views. Downstairs game room with comfy seating , pool table and huge tv was perfect for our “kids”-17,19 and 22. Booked before we left for next June—can’t wait to get back,

Quick getaway

Decided to take a last minute long weekend with the family and this one said available so we booked it. Absolutely beautiful views and the home had everything we needed. Went out the first night for dinner but decided to grill out the second night. There was a store within 5 minutes to grab some steaks and anything else we needed. The grill was awesome and we had everything we needed for a great dinner. We loved how close everything was but yet we still had that feeling of remoteness of being in the mountains with an incredible view. It's a little hard to find down the gravel road but lighted large signs help guide the way. On my list to return for future visits. Thank you for the hospitality.

Girls Weekend

My girlfriends and I (a group of 10) had the most wonderful stay at White Stag. The house was perfect and the common rooms were exactly what we needed to lounge, eat and catch up over a long weekend. The view is phenomenal and it was so nice being close to downtown We visited during the "off season" in February but everything was still open in town and there was plenty to do. I would highly recommend this property to anyone!

Highlands Family Time

When going in, the first thing you see is the mountain view!! Just gorgeous!! The house was beautiful and decorated perfectly for a mountain house...very clean, very well stocked kitchen , very comfortable furniture and beds.....the sun rises and sunsets were spectacular...Highlands, lots of hiking trails and waterfalls were close by.....we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stags View!!!

Loved the property. Only critique is that the air/heat control was difficult to control in the bedrooms and was hot and also the kitchen utensils/pots/pans/glasses were a bit dated and limited.

Beautiful House, Stunning View.

Family vacation for 12. All adults except one grandchild. The House is beautiful and has everything you need. Beautifully appointed and well laid out. All in perfect order, incluidng a well stocked kitchen and plenty of bathrooms. The view is priceless and stunning. The Highlands is such a beautiful place to vacation and this house is equally beautiful.

Wonderful home for a Highlands vacation!

Our family had a wonderful time at Stags view! Very well equipped kitchen, laundry, bathrooms, linens. Everything was incredibly clean, the host was very responsive, check in and out was a breeze and the view was one of a kind! Absolutely incredible. Morning coffee and evening cocktails on the deck overlooking the perfect view were highlights. Very quiet and secluded, the driveway/road to the home while well maintained is quite steep at the end but necessary to get to that view and not uncommon for the mountains! Short drive to town and some local hikes. We would absolutely stay at Stags View again when returning to Highlands!

Spacious home with amazing views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this spacious and well located home only 3 miles from downtown Highlands. We spent most of our time on the back porch taking in the spectacular mountain views. The kitchen was well-appointed with everything needed to cook at home and each bedroom was very comfortable with nice linens. The home is perfect for a big family or several families.
