Awesome Holiday

We stayed at the Big Billy Cabin for Christmas and had a wonderful time. The cabin is awesome. Meticulously kept up with lots of space. The concierge service was amazing. Will definitely be back.

80th Birthday

The house is absolutely beautiful on a large piece of property that abuts a creek. We had four families gathered and had room for everybody with multiple entertaining areas as well as indoor and outdoor fire places. The location is excellent and we would gladly stay there again if we were to have a large gathering.

For my husband and I along with our family that included eight others~ it was a wonderful experience! The house was tucked away in the most beautiful setting and had everything you could possibly imagine…from wonderful beds to entertainment amenities to beautiful porches all over! Too many to list here~ but I can assure you~ you will love the whole experience! Katherine, the gracious host, was so helpful in so many ways. She made sure we were all comfortable and was always ready to answer any questions we had…A+++++ to Katherine! If you want the best Highland’s mountain experience~ choose this amazing home! You will be glad you did!

Top Notch

I’ve stayed at a million places in Highlands and this one strikes the best balance of close to town but enough space to enjoy the outdoors. It was an INCREDIBLE cabin (coming from a cabin snob). Fireplaces galore, wonderful covered porches, games for the kids, hiking trails, river, etc. I highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity.

Incredible home

This is one of the coziest homes I’ve ever stepped foot in! We loved our stay so much and cannot wait to go back. The property is gorgeous. The trail down to the river was such a gorgeous surprise! Follow all the way. It’s beautiful! Can’t wait to visit again when it’s warm. The primary bed was so comfortable and the steam shower was amazing! There are just so many good parts to this house. I could go on and on.

Delightful Thanksgiving in the Highlands

What a beautiful property for our Thanksgiving getaway. We had plenty of space for each of our children and their children to sleep and play. Our kitchen was well equipped for our many meals and especially our Thanksgiving meal. We loved gathering around the many fireplaces with a gracious supply of split wood. We hiked and played outdoor games on the beautiful property. We had the incredible support of our personal concierge Stephen,who was available 24/7. Such a memorable time at Big Billy Cabin! Thank you!

Grandma's 80th

What a beautiful property. Nestled deep in the woods, the Big Billy cabin is a work of art. The architecture and craftsmanship is detailed and so unique. The house is appointed with such lovely furnishings and artwork. Each bedroom is layered in soft linens and has a story. We loved the use of local art and collections throughout. Honestly not a corner that has not been curated. We opted to entertain at the house and found the kitchen and pantry to be well provisioned and easy to cook in. The outdoor porch and 7 fireplaces were used every minute we were there. Thank heavens the wood was well stocked! Stephen was lovely getting us checked in and made it all very easy. The cabin was the perfect spot for our family to gather and celebrate my mom. Thank you so much for sharing your home! It is a special place. Look forward to visiting again. We plan to put Big Billy's Cabin on repeat.

Amazing Stay minutes from Highland

This property was absolutely amazing. The historic Joe Webb cabin was crafted with the most detailed architecture. Our family enjoyed staying there and making memories in the great room and on the back porch. The basement is filled with light and endless entertainment. You can not beat the location as it is just minutes from Highland. We loved our stay here and look forward to returning!

Magnificent Private Cabin!

Our family of six absolutely LOVED our recent stay in this luxurious cabin. The cabin is very spacious, clean, cozy, private and well equipped with amenities. The owner has provided everything you could need. We felt so welcome. Just sitting on one of the grand porches and listening to the creek and wildlife was worth the entire stay. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. Local shopping in Highlands is only 10 minutes away. We are so appreciative that we were given the opportunity to enjoy this amazing home. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

Dream cabin

Wonderful trip! The cabin fully accommodated our group of all ages. We did not get to enjoy the grounds too well due to unexpected snow but it did not hinder our stay at all. Truly a gem we would love to visit again!

Big Billy Cabin Delivers

Rented this for family Christmas with 13 family members and it was perfect size wise and location. Great game room for family fun and perfect for adult relaxation. We will rent it again!

Great home for a group!

We rent this home every year and it never disappoints. We love the house and the location. It sits privately on over 20 acres but you are less than 10 minutes to Highlands. Plus the house itself is just a unique property. Love it!

only 2 downfalls , no view of the mountains from house and the creek is not really easy to get to / no view of it from house by any means. but overall great authentic cabin . We had a great time

Absolutely magnificent home

We all enjoyed immensely our time on this incredible property. Everything was clean and there was absolutely not a single appliance or pan that was not there at our fingertips! That was amazing! Thank you for your eye for every detail. The stickers on all the light switches were an lifesaver!! Loved the notes, they were sweet and informative! My one observation is the denim sofa covers are in desperate need of a bath in the washer. Thank you Just so you know a couple light bulbs in the living room and den are out. In case the cleaning crew don’t catch it. All in all I hope I get to rent this beautiful property again on day Thank you!!

Outstanding Family Vacation Home

This huge cabin in the woods left nothing to be desired. This amazing, well-equipped and beautifully decorated place is set in the woods with a delightful creek and waterfall in which the family had so much fun playing .A perfect family getaway! We all want to go back there!
