Short Stay in Harvey Bay

We had a three night stay at this property, which we enjoyed. The host was friendly and helpful, giving us a quick overview on our arrival and very responsive to any issue. The location is quiet and easily accessible. The property was spacious, comfortable and adequately appointed, suitable for a couple. We would be happy to stay here again.

Home away from home

We were greeted by our hosts and introduced to the spacious unit, very comfortable and felt at home immediately. The property is very central to everything. We had total privacy and it was very quiet.

Nice property in a great location

I enjoyed my stay & was very thankful to our hosts for greeting us with bottles of wine & chocolates. Also other goodies, eggs, bread, soft drinks & some kitchen staples. The only downside of our stay was I didn't like the cooking arrangements & would like to see an upright stove installed in the kitchen rather than the current arrangement. Also we had our peace disturbed constantly by neighbours constantly barking dogs, particularly the small dog. Every day between 3.00pm & 7.00pm it would bark continuously. This was happening just 5-6 feet away from our living room window and was really annoying. Our host did not seem able to manage this. This is the first time I've used this type of accommodation, usually using hotels/motels & caravan parks. I might be reluctant to try it again due to the unruly neighbourhood dogs. While our host had dogs as well, these were not an issue as they only bark when someone comes to their property, but the neighbours dog barks persistently for hours on end when they're not home which is frequent, which became really draining.

It was great accommodation but the only thing that was upsetting was the wife of the owner she never talk to us even though she was right next to us no hello nothing it does not take much to say hello we try but got no answer

Perfect to explore Fraser Island

If you are looking for a place to stay while you day trip to Fraser Island, this is the perfect place. It is also nearby to Urangan Pier, Reef World, the botanical gardens and Wetside Water Park. The property is attached to the family's home so you will hear their foot traffic from time to time but that didnt bother my husband and I. We would definitely stay here again if we were to come back to Hervey Bay.
