Pampered Guests

My husband & I stayed in the 2 bedroom upstairs apartment which had water views from every window. We had our own private balcony & enjoyed breakfasting there in the sunshine every morning. The balcony had another return area which was ideal for relaxing in the shade. We had everything we needed for our stay & were made feel welcome from the moment we arrived with a thoughtful hamper left for us by the hosts. They were very helpful & we enjoyed an open communication with them. All of our dealings were with Sarah who was absolutely delightful. We will definitely return.

Review

The location is fine. The building is 60 years old and cheaply built: absolutely no insulation, ceiling or walls. Recent renovations are quite adequate, however the weather was hot, and the air conditioning barely able to keep up with the family room, necessary night and day. Other rooms more like ovens, and accordingly uninhabitable even though the bedrooms do have ceiling fans.

Nice, clean unit with views

We enjoyed our stay at this comfortable and clean second floor 2 bedroom unit. There were nice views to the bay from every room, and a popular walking/running path right across the street. The host provided recommendations to nearby restaurants and coffee shops that were an easy stroll away. We would’ve loved to stay longer!

Short Mid-week Stay

We had a good time over the few days we were there. The unit is well located overlooking the bay and a short stroll to restaurants and cafes. A lovely clean unit equipped with everything you need. A lovely surprise finding Easter chocolates in the fridge, cereals and milk for breakfast. A nice touch. Thank you Sarah. The only drawback to this unit is the noisy street traffic.

A beautiful spot with a lovely wrap around balcony to view the ocean surrounds. All the little touches in the apartment so you have everything you need. Super clean which is reassuring in these times. An easy walk to the pier and food choices. Thanks so much Sarah we hope yo come again next year!

Amazing stay

Stayed in this gorgeous unit for 3 days. Was extremely well-appointed. Sarah has done a wonderful job of equipping the unit with everything you may need (even if you didn’t think you did !) . The beds were very comfortable and we all slept extremely well! Thanks Sarah for a memorable stay.

Stunning ocean views

We had a relaxing couple of days at this property. It is right on the Esplanade and walking distance to the pier, shops and restaurants at Urangen. Sarah was an excellent host and made sure we had everything needed and left breakfast supplies and treats for us. Thankyou for having us stay.

Best Home Stay Ever

What a lovely little cottage/beach house this was. Absolutely perfect for my husband and I. Perfect ambiance with lots wonderful little extra touches. If I could pick this up and take it with me I would. Sarah, our host was just lovely and added that homely touch to the whole experience. If Hervey Bay is your destination then you couldn't do any better than this for practical accommodation at a very reasonable price.

Beach Paradise

Staying at your apartment Sarah was such a breath of fresh air literally from the ocean breeze. Stunning views and wildlife surrounding the property. Amazing. After a long drive from Victoria coming to your apartment made us feel at home with so many extra details you supplied for our stay like the bathroom accessories, beds, caramelo freddo frogs and bottle of water on arrival. Great stay!

It was the little touches that made this stay really special and so convenient. The provision of unexpected things like cling wrap, an umbrella and sunscreen for example made the place feel like home. The kids were also so excited when they saw we even had a christmas chocolate each in the fridge! The location is great, walking distance to the pier and a yummy fish and chip shop. Beach is straight across the road for fishing and swimming. Simple, small but not cramped apartment with great views out every window. The L shaped verandah around the front and side added extra outdoor space. Easy off road parking. Air con was awesome. Lovely neighbours in the house next door. We would stay there again!

A wonderful place to visit.

The property is immaculate with lots of nice touches that make you feel welcome. In particular the apartment is full of light. Coffee and milk are always nice to find at the end of a long journey. The owner makes you very welcome throughout your stay and nothing seems too much trouble. There is ample off road parking and pubs and restaurants either close by or a short drive. We were fortunate that we chose to stay here.

Great 3 day break

We could not have chosen better accommodation at Hervey Bay.....our unit was perfect and was exactly as shown on their website....Sarah was a really nice person and took pride in her property and before you even saw the accommodation you knew that it was going to be great .... we stayed in Unit 3 which was upstairs at the front of the property 2 bedroom/1 bathroom which was really well equipped with everything but I am sure if you needed something you would just need to ask.....it was good to actually meet the owner and Sarah made us very welcomed.....we hope to holiday again in Hervey Bay and would definitely return to this property ....

Perfect little getaway and an even better location

Sarah was very accommodating with any questions or request i had. Her communication with me leading up to and during my stay was fantastic. I was meet by Andrea on my arrival and was very helpful in making sure I was settled in and had everything I needed. The unit was completely self contained and was fully stocked with everything I could want, from the beautiful range of hair and skin care to the food and beverages for breakfast. If I ever need to stay in Hervey Bay I will be staying here again. I highly recommend Sarah and her gorgeous hideaway to anyway. Belinda J

Flawless Unit & Hospitality

This unit is flawless, spotlessly clean, perfectly-situated, and well-appointed. Sarah (and Andrea) have perfected the art of making folks feel welcomed and right at home. Beautiful view, ample bird life, lovely walks in either direction of the Esplanade...aaahhhh. We enjoyed our stay so much and can't recommend this place highly enough.
