Lovely property. View from veranda to Bay was minimal but that made no difference to us. We appreciated being tucked away at the back of the property in a private setting. The unit was clean, practical, homey and had thoughtful additions such as sunscreen, insect repellent, laundry detergent and beach towels. Communication with Sarah was efficient and clear. Easy access to great food and coffee, walking distance (5 mins) to Shelley Beach or Urangan Pier with a short drive to the lovely Torquay. The property is in a quiet and private location with our particular unit tucked at the back of the property. We are looking forward to another holiday at the this property again later in the year. Highly recommend!

Amazing place to stay across the road from the beach and not far from the pier, perfect location. Owner was really helpful and friendly and assisted in any queries. Would definitely stay there again if visiting again. A+++++

Beautiful little cottage

Great location, we were in cottage 6 that has a nice deck to sit on and partial view of the esplanade. A cosy little cottage and the owners have added lots of little extra touches which made the stay very enjoyable.

Highly recommended

We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage. It had everything we could possibly want including a good and quiet location to make our 3 night stay relaxing and enjoyable. Would certainly return here on our next visit to Hervey Bay.

Flawless Beachfront Stay

We had a wonderful stay in Cottage 6. Sarah has thought of everything to make this property comfortable for guests. We loved the beachfront location and parking for our boat and 4WD. Sarah we appreciated your thoughtful chocolates and postcard on arrival. Very comfortable cottage and fantastic location as a base to explore Fraser Island by boat. We will be back, thank you.

Great position with lovely outlook

We had a lovely relaxing time. Everything you would want was there. You could step off a plane with just clothes & pick up some food on the way and want for nothing else. Even had our linen changed mid way through our 11 night stay. That was unexpected and very nice. Thanks to Sarah & Ian for their hospitality & friendliness. We would certainly stay again. Lovely Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay . The owners had thought of everything anyone could need. The fixtures and fittings all blended in with each other and the cottage was furnished to our taste. If we should ever visit Hervey Bay again we would certainly stay here. Well done Sarah and Ian.

Excellent!

Sarah and Ian have thought of everything with their set up of our cottage. It has comfortable beds and sofas, a great set up in the kitchen and the bathroom is generous in size. We were able to do laundry which is always a plus when travelling. The addition of breakfast staples is also a nice touch. We stayed in Number 6 which is away from the road but has a pleasant sea view down the driveway. The area has lots of restaurants and boardwalk in walking distance. One of the best places cottages we have stayed. Would highly recommend.

Omg so lovely - awesome spot - easy walk to the pier and local cafes and dining option. The accomodation was superb - just drove into the carport for our cottage and unloaded on the deck. Sarah is so friendly and full of local helpful advice for the area. 5 star. No pool but who needs one when you have the beach.

Blissful, serene and clean, all with the ultimate in hospitality.

We were impressed with the cleanliness of the cottage and with what was available to use within it, to assist with our stay to be comfortable and pleasant. As the saying goes, "at times, it's the little things that make the difference.!" ... We were impressed.! The cottage was conveniently located towards The Pier at Hervey Bay with a walk across the road and you're on the beach. The communication, information and assistance, prior to and during our stay, along with the friendly welcoming on arrival was sincerely excellent. We were also grateful for the intrinsic nature of the personality of the host and the manager. Will we stay again.? ...... The answer is, " a definite yes" from us.!

Beautiful cottage !

We were so happy with the position and the amenities at this cottage clean and modern. We were greeted on arrival and Sarah the owner was very helpful welcoming. The water can be seen down the driveway from the cottage. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had some essentials left for us milk,cereal, water and chocolates ,a nice addition. Across the road a lovely walk along the shore and down to Urangan pier. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

What a beautiful self contained cottage nothing has been left out right down to the kids books and toys! Personal touch in almost every room! Sarah the host is amazing checking in on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed! We even got personalised easter gifts for the kids! Beds are so comfortable and location is awsome! We will definitely be back! Anyone looking for a short or long get away this cottage ticks all the boxes! Thank you Sarah for everything we had such an amazing time! 😍

Lovely Stay in Hervey Bay

We stayed 3 nights at the Cottage and Sarah and Ian were very welcoming and extremely helpful, even giving us a lift to a local record shop we wanted to visit upon our arrival. The Cottage is exceptionally clean and bright with lots of lovely touches and well equipped. There are restaurants very nearby, we explored these plus some further up the road by the beach. A lovely sandy beach is over the road with the biggest collection of shells I have ever seen. One day we walked the entire Esplanade with lots of stop offs. The Pier is a lovely evening walk. The harbour a good spot for lunch. Thank you Sarah and Ian and team for our lovely stay in Hervey Bay.

It was very good and we were very happy. We would definitely recommend Bayview Cottage. It was exceptionally clean, beautiful linen and all the comforts you could think of. The Cottage was better equipped and serviced than most Resorts and Motels. The Owners and Manager are lovely and very obliging. The Cottage is close enough but still quiet and private. They really did think of everything.

We had a brilliant stay at Bayview Cottage and if we are ever in the area again this would be our first choice of place to stay. Sarah and her team could not have been more friendly and helpful ..... it was a delight to get to know them. The cottage had everything we could have wished for and I have no hesitation in giving it a 5* ..... no .... a 10* review. Well done Sarah and team - you have provided something very special. It was a joy to meet, spend some time and share some laughs with you. You are a credit to Hervey Bay. You provided a friendly and professional service that made a wonderful holiday just that extra bit special.
