"We were in town for my son’s wedding at Purgatory, so the location was perfect. While the house was amazing, we all loved the front porch and yard. We played lot’s of family games. "We really enjoyed our stay here. The kitchen is the perfect size for a large group and had enough seats for all of us to eat together. We appreciated the plethora of bathrooms to allow for privacy and speed as there was very little need to share. The location was quiet and it was easy to get where we needed without traffic as a hinderance. "

"We really enjoyed our stay! Check-in went smooth and was pretty easy to find even in the dark as we arrived pretty late! Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The pool/hot tub was awesome and all the mountain activities were a blast. We will definitely be back. Thank you! "

"Awesome cabin! Fully stocked kitchen. Quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the chipmunks and deer, and it was great hiking up the hill behind the cabin. The dogs enjoyed the cool weather and the hikes."

"Overall it was very pleasant and quiet. Lots of deer, turkeys and one bear. The most well behaved cat also lives there under the porch. Hot tub and hammockwas very relaxing. Cobwebs on most light fixtures, mattresses in both upstairs and downstairs main bedrooms were worn out. A couple cooking pots were so old and worn out, they were not usable. Minor things, but very fixable. Artwork was beautiful!"

"The location is perfect for going into Durango and also accessing the trails for hiking, and other mountain activities. Excursions to Ouray, Silverton and even Telluride can be accomplished in a day.The house had everything we needed and very clean. It is an older home that's not perfect but extremely comfortable. No A/C but cools off in the evening and fans are available.Definitely would stay again. And Taylor was a great host and responded to all questions immediately."

"Beautiful property, very comfortable. Experienced all kind of weather throughout the week from sunshine, to rain, to hail. All were gorgeous on the river. "This was my third time staying at Holly’s s place. It was the perfect size for us. The location was great for walking into town which we did quite a bit. The Animas River is located a street away. We loved sitting on the porch watching the city deer hang out in the yard. Holly’s place had everything we needed and she was very responsive."
