The setting is perfect. The host “Marc” is very nice, happens to be near the property came by to say hello. A very fine gesture for him to display. Our stay was totally relaxing and everyone had a very nice time and the home is perfect. We would like to visit in the fall when the trees have changed, weather is cooler to use the outdoor fireplace.

Spotlessly clean, beautiful home. Well stocked which is huge for us as we are a big family and WE COOK! Had a wonderful time on the paddle boards and kayaks. We spent each evening in the downstairs patio around the fire. We will definitely be returning!

Outdoor amenities were unmatched. The host really considered each space in the home and made it perfect for guests. The home was extremely clean. Kitchen had all items we needed and more. The dock area was so relaxing. There was a lot of lake grass off the dock area which deterred our swimming in the immediate area but we still enjoyed the lake.

We’ve been coming to Lake Gaston for many many years but this was a first at this house. It was by far the most beautiful and comfortable house we have ever rented. House was very well stocked for cooking. Plenty of space for storage and lounging. Our only complaint was the water space off the dock was pretty overrun by grass and weeds. We easily rectified that by going out on a pontoon for our swims. Hopefully we will be able to stay in this wonderful home again. Thank you for having us!!

We had a wonderful, relaxing, fun, convenient, easy, joyful week in this beautiful home. We wanted for nothing - everything was exactly as advertised. The kitchen was fully supplied with cooking and food storage equipment. The grill, pizza oven, and Blackstone worked perfectly. The dock had shady spots all day long. We hope to stay again many more years, and are so grateful to the owners for allowing us time in their home.

Our group of 13 (3 generations) from 6 months old to 57 had a wonderful week spending time together and celebrating a birthday. This was a first for our family and the house did not disappoint. The weather was on our side everyday but one. Everyone enjoyed floating around and taking turns on the kayaks and paddle board. Plenty of room to spread out and not feel crowded when everybody is inside. Kitchen is well stocked with many additional appliances depending what you're cooking. We used the outdoor kitchen/grill area several times. Very pleased with everything and would stay again.

July 4 family gathering

All was great. The home has plenty of both private and public gathering areas (two family rooms in the home, two porches, dock area and outside fire place).The furniture, appliances and food preparation tools were better than most rentals we have used in the past.The location on the lake is wonderful as the cove offers a protected swimming area and the open water of the lake is only 200 yards away.We would certainly return to the home in the future

Guys Weekend

One of the best stays/rentals that we have ever had the pleasure of staying at! The dock was perfect for spending the days out on the lake in the kayaks, the outdoor patio downstairs was extremely comfortable, and the inside was expansive, allowing our group of 8 to have plenty of room! We'd love to return!

Family wedding

13 of us stayed at this house for 4 nights. We all had plenty of space to spread out and come together. The lake access is fantastic. There are so many amenities, even an ice maker. We loved the huge hot tub that overlooks the water and outdoor fireplace. There are plenty of cold storage options. We highly recommend staying here!

Lake Trip

Great Getaway!

My family and another family spend a week at Lake Gaston every year and always make tons of great memories. This year was no different! Marc was very communicative from before we booked through the last day of our stay. The house fit our party of 10 nicely and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed s'mores in the outdoor fireplace and hanging out on the dock. The teenagers in our group enjoyed fishing in the cove. The location is great - close to shopping by car and close to the main lake by boat. Thank you, Marc, for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home and create another chapter in our book of memories!!

Fantastic house

The house itself was great - super clean, plenty of room, great amenities and necessities and we loved it! The dock had some opportunity with boards needing to be replaced but the owner assured it was on the short list of repairs to be made ASAP. Super close to the main part of Pea Hill Creek which was a plus but also pretty far into the finger of the creek which left the bottom a bit muddy but the water felt clean and was easily resolved by staying on the floats for the most part. Overall the stay was great and Marc was a super accommodating host who was very responsive to any questions and requests.

One of the best VRBOs we have stayed in

Had an amazing stay at Marc’s lake house on Lake Gaston. The home is even more beautiful in person and was extremely clean. We loved the amount of linens that were provided (including beach towels) and how stocked the kitchen was. Anything you could think of, Marc has you covered! The outdoor spaces were our favorite parts as there was enough seating for all of our guests, plus there were so many things to keep us busy! We also loved the downstairs bar/hangout area that led right out to the hot tub/boathouse/bonfire/outdoor kitchen as it was perfect for the large group. We hope to come back and would rightly recommend Marc’s home!

Perfect lake house

We had a blast at Marc’s property! House was so clean and cozy, the outdoor kitchen setup and hot tub were such a treat. We had everything we need to relax, cook, and hang out with friends and family for Thanksgiving. Plenty of bedrooms and space!
