My family spent Thanksgiving in Helen and the house was a perfect fit for us. The game room and the hot tub was a favorite for us all. It really shows that the owners want to make their home very comfortable and homey for their guests. We made awesome memories in Helen and thanks for letting us stay!

This is such a wonderful home! It's absolutely adorable, exactly like the photos! It's also very comfortable, from the furniture in the living room, to the outdoor sofas, to the beds and the glorious kitchen. We were super impressed with the spices and oil that was provided in the kitchen, as well as the very generous soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and laundry products. We found it to be incredibly clean and well fitted, especially for a pet-friendly property. My husband and our friends had such a great time sitting on the back porch watching the fire and listening to the wind in the trees - so relaxing. It is walkable to downtown Helen, but you need to be in decent shape for the mile walk up and down the incline. We found driving was easier and took just a few minutes. I'd suggest bringing a gate for the back porch steps if you bring a dog (or kid) that likes to roam on their own. Overall a wonderful place that we will definitely return to!

Our group of 5 women had an amazing stay! We loved the space and adorable decor, the cleanliness and the most amazing porch! The hot tub was perfect and a great place to watch college football:) We felt safe during our stay and walked back and forth from town several times. The hill is a bit of a hike, but we survived!

The house was amazing! Very clean, in a great neighborhood, and really close to town. We loved the rear deck with covered seating area, tv, and hot tub. After a full day of walking around the town of Helen and tubing down the river, we grilled out steaks on the grill and had a really relaxing dinner. We had a great time.

Helen Stay

The overall stay was good. The blinds in the livingroom was broken so they couldn't be lowered so sleeping in the master was a challenge. Being in a new area of course I wanted the porch lights on but it was so light then I couldn't rest. I tried closing the door but the curtains in master were so shear, the porch light was an issue still . I could have went upstairs to sleep but the children wanted their own rooms. Overall a good experience.

A perfect getaway for the family. The owners have thought of every detail. The home has everything you need and quality shows throughout the home. The covered back porch with the hot tub is great any part of the day. The home is at the top of a hill and less than a 15 minute walk to the edge of town or a 3 minute drive. We would stay again without hesitation. 5* or 10/10!

Lovely little house. We had a nice stay. House was clean.Beds were comfortable. Hot tub clean. Fire pit was nice. Back porch with fireplace was great. We did not use outside backyard. It definitely needs some work. Maybe some grass. For us this was not walking distance to town. It’s a hike down steep hills. That was one reason we rented this house was walkable to town. That was a disappointment. It’s more like a 30-40 minute walk in hot sun with kids. No thanks. Otherwise we drove everywhere. Parking was good but you have to pay.We did enjoy everything else. Like I said house is very nice. Also you must cage your dog when you’re not there. We found out in text the day before not when we made reservations. For us that was ok . We have a kennel cage and our dog doesn’t mind being in a cage. Overall good stay. Four stars for the walking distance from home to town. I guess you could make a argument over it but for us it was not good. Would stay again knowing this.

This was the cleanest, cutest VRBO ever. Sometimes places that allow pets appear crusty. This place was not. I vacuum daily at my own home and got the same cleanliness experience here. We came for the ball tournament at Yonah and it was an easy 10 minute drive. You can walk back and forth toDowntown Helen. It was perfect. Did I mention that the furnishings and decor were magazine worthy. We will be back here again!
