Bavarian Style Country Home on 120 Acres of Fields and Forests

  • Bienvenido a Elk Branch Lodge, una extensa casa de campo de dos pisos que se adapta fácilmente a reuniones familiares, reuniones grupales o escapadas románticas para dos. The Lodge no es solo la segunda casa de alguien en un ajetreado desarrollo comercial. Es un lugar privado especial en el país, enclavado en las montañas rodeadas por miles de acres de bosque. También es una granja de caballos de trabajo con pastos y senderos boscosos. Hay un montón de espacio dentro para que todos puedan reunirse o dividirse en grupos más pequeños. El entorno natural lo llevará al exterior, donde la vida silvestre, las montañas y las puestas de sol harán su magia.

    Además de los muchos grupos multifamiliares / amigos que organizamos cada año, también organizamos retiros de iglesias y eventos corporativos. Los espaciosos terrenos y las cubiertas ofrecen un amplio espacio para discusiones grupales, formación de equipos o reflexión silenciosa.

    El albergue se encuentra a una corta distancia en automóvil de los cuatro Parques Nacionales y los pueblos históricos de Berkeley Springs, Shepherdstown, Charles Town y Martinsburg. Cenas y restaurantes únicos, tiendas de artesanía, antigüedades, mercados de granjeros e incluso un casino completan las atracciones locales. The property is absolutely beautiful; the photos actually don't do it justice. Check-in couldn't have been more smooth. We stayed during an intense summer heatwave but the window units kept our rooms cool enough to stay comfortable. We'd absolutely love to return during the autumn!

Very nice and private property with lots of open space and trails to walk on. The place is rustic, but has everything you need including a giant fireplace. The hot tub was great too. I hope to visit again soon.

Group of 7 guys. Had an amazing time. Very private, clean, and Larry was super chill. Would absolutely come back for another stay. As noted by other guests, the staircase is narrow and steep. Also worth mentioning is that there is no dishwasher, if that matters to you.

Spacious, clean, inviting, warm. Everything we anticipated and more. Spent most of the time outside hiking and enjoying the nature, but the evenings in the hot tub and playing games was complimented by the warm environment and calming surroundings.

Perfect Getaway

This was a wonderful getaway. The property is tucked away on beautiful property. Very accommodating for our family which included infant to adult. The hot tub was as a nice add! The host was a great communicator and was very accommodating.We will visit again.

This was such a great experience for our family this past weekend! There were 6 adults and 7 children, plenty of room for everyone. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the wood stoves were great, and we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, including very comfy flannel sheets on the beds. Larry, our host, was very quick to respond to my questions prior to our stay. All 13 of us give this property a 10/10, and we would stay here again for sure!

Great Family Location

We came from several locations to attend a wedding and wanted to stay in a big comfy house together. The property was perfect and the host was fantastic. Absolute stay.

June 27th through July 12th Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We couldn't have asked for a better location and Larry was phenomenal at responding to any questions we had. There was a total of nine of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. Would definitely stay there again.

Great getaway

We have a group of teachers who get away to this cabin every year in the early spring. It's always a great location. Close enough to go out hiking or to Berkeley springs for people that want to do that, but plenty of space to hang out if you just want to rest and relax around the property.

Rustic getaway in WV

We chose this location for a girls’ weekend. The property is very private with beautiful views! It is very rustic, perfect for a trip to the mountains/ woods. All beds are on the second floor, up a narrow set of ladder steps. Plenty of space to spread out and enjoy time away

Met all our needs

Larry was VERY accommodating and helpful. The house and property have a charm to it that made for relaxing evenings. Plenty of room for everyone and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Family reunion

We stayed for a week as a family reunion. 8 siblings & some spouses. The property was private & very peaceful. Location was great for day trips to Harpers Ferry, Shepards town, tubing on the river & shopping. We enjoyed our stay.
