Beautiful Get Away!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Didn’t have a ton of time to get away with the wife, but a few days here at this beautiful cabin at Lobo Landing was perfect. Cleanest cabin we have ever stayed in, and the property and river access/view is unbeatable.

Relaxing

A perfect getaway! The cabins was spotless, comfortable and cozy. The only complaints we had were the jet tub did not work and the fireplace ( gas logs) were not there. WiFi worked and the view was awesome!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: So we loved the area and it was sooo cozy and peaceful but the hot water heater just stopped working so we had absolutely no hot water! I’m sure it was something minor and it kept beeping. Just a small inconvenience! We sent and email and told them about the issue yesterday when we got home and I didn’t hear anything back.

Photos give impression of direct access to River but it’s not. Inside clean, exterior dusty and weedy. Neighbors next door took up all the parking even blocking our steps to entrance.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent most of our time sitting on the porch facing the little red river. It was so peaceful. The kitchen was completely helpful! We brought our food and the cabin had what we needed to cook our meal. My only complaint during our stay is the bed. It was like lying on a flatbed of rocks

But, the cabins seemed aged, which is fine, but there were holes everywhere, cabinet doors falling off, and fireplace didn't work. The cabin was also pretty filthy, but it didn't bother us. We loved the experience, but they need to a little work.

Cabin 14 Lobo Landing

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin 14 was one of 3 cabins rented for our family for a 6 day stay. Nicely furnished overlooking Litte Red River. Cabin is advertised with access to fishing from the cabin but the foilage was so overgrown that we could not access from the cabin lot. It wasn't until one of the other guests raised the concern that someone came to start mowing, but that didn't happen until the day we were leaving. AC had hard time keeping up with the high temps. When we arrived, porch and chairs were really dirty and lots of bird poo due to birds nesting in the porch, which we had to clean before we could use the chairs on the porch. Ovens need to be cleaned. Great location but more attention needed to ensure guests don't have to clean before they can use the facilities based on the price of these cabins.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was good. Didn't get to trout fish like we wanted due to Corps Generating. Was disappointed with that & that We were told we could fish off the bank of the cabin or walk to the dock Which wasn't true. No clean spot to go down to the river from our cabin. And they charged us to fish at the dock and then we couldn't fish because of generating. Also, people in the dock store didn't know when they would or would not be generating and then when they weren't dock was so crowded couldn't get to it.. The cabin was pretty clean but was very dusty in places. there was a hair in our bathroom sink and trash in the tub. Also, you need some safety bars for those of us who take showers to get in and out of tub shower. The cabin was beautiful though.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We did love the cabin. But for $500 for 2 nights we had to clean the outside from bird poop everywhere and sweep the porch off. So we couldn’t really enjoy sitting outside. We had to kill an assassin bug nest that had just hatched above our entrance door. Thank goodness they had bug spray around. We barely had enough dish soap for the sink. We also had to empty out the coffee grounds from the guest before. Housekeeping needs to be more on their game. The cabin was cute and the view was beautiful. Just need to be sure they come and clean and mark off their checklist.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The bedding sheets were filthy. Called and got it fixed. I don’t know if it was an oversight or just a failed money saving technique but we did not like it at all. Otherwise, it was a nice place and very quiet. Not 100% sure if I’d stay again or not or recommend. The unclean bedding on arrival is just such a turn off for me.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The trip overall was good, but we did have a few critiques. When we got there, we easily got into the room with the code, but since the AC hadn’t been on, the place had a real musty smell that was hard to remove with even AC. The internet had some issues one of the days where it wouldn’t connect anymore, but it eventually worked the next day. The only other thing is that we wanted to fish at the trout dock, but since we were staying in one of the 3 or 4 cabins on their list, we would of had to pay to fish there. Most of the other cabins could fish for free for whatever reason.

Reviewer Comments: FISHING WAS SLOW.THE WATER WAS RELEASED FROM THE DAM EACH DAY AND IT WOULD ARRIVE WHERE WE WERE FISHING AROUND 1:30 PM AND THE FISHING WAS PRETTY MUCH OVER WHEN THE RIVER STARTS RISING.
