our utah adventure

the rental house that we stayed for our first skiing adventure in utah has been very positive one .. it was just the right size for us and the views in the living room and dining room were just amazing.

Great Stay!!

We had an amazing stay at this property! The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the space was large and comfortable, making it perfect for our trip. We loved having all the appliances we needed, which made cooking and relaxing even easier. The location was fantastic—just a short, easy access to the gondola, making getting to the mountain easy. Would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend.

Great house in Deer Valley

I’ve stayed in several Vrbo properties and this is one of the very best. All the rooms have really nice beds and the 3 floor layout gives everyone privacy. The kitchen and great room were so nice for family meals and together time. Balconies on every floor and fantastic views. Very clean and well appointed throughout and the owner is very responsive. A superb choice for your trip to DV/PC!

Amazing stay and perfect location!

What an amazing stay! The house is in impeccable shape and fully stocked with everything you need. It has a great kitchen so you can cook meals and a very comfortable living area...plus a massage chair for relaxing after a day on the slopes. Plenty of rooms for large groups and the beds were very comfortable. The hot tub is really nice with great views and the house is perfectly located for access to many nearby attractions. Finally, the host was epic! She made for the easiest check in and check out, gave great recommendations for food and was always available for help.

Family Vacation

We had a family reunion over the Labor day weekend and half my family are not fans of camping. Therefore, the location of this VRBO was perfect! The home was beautiful with all the amenities we could ever need and more. And the beds were so comfortable! My entire family had a great rest! Thank you for the lovely accommodations! We would definitely rebook here again if we travel to the area again in the future!

Great property, just a little far

Overall we had a great stay at the property! It accommodated a lot of guests the only two things that were a big bummer was we never were able to unlock the hot tub, even with the code and confirming. Secondly. Check out was at 10 am. The cleaning crew walked into the house, through the garage, at 9:30 am, startling us. While my group was still wrapping up a few things and we still had 30 mins, this seemed odd to me. While we didn’t care and let them start to clean the home, it was still something strange I have not experienced staying at rental properties. Other than that good size house, just about 15/20 mins of a drive from both park city and deer valley.

Great townhouse! Great location!

This townhouse was perfect for our family! The hot tub and heated walk pads were perfect after a day of skiing! A massage chair was an added luxury! The kids loved the vintage pinball machine! The kitchen was very well-equipped with lots of staples provided. The beds were comfortable and lots of towels provided. The owner was very quick to communicate and answer any questions we had. The trip to Deer Valley and Park City was easy and the Jordanelle Gondola was very convenient! All in all, an excellent choice for our stay in Utah!

Family Ski Vacation

Property is great. Enough bedrooms so everyone had their privacy. The pinball machine was a hit with us every night! Location is great, short drive to the slopes. MJ was great, quick responses and very hospitable. Would definitely rent this place again.

Great Experience

The property was perfect for our group of 5 who were in the area for a ski vacation. The beds were comfy, the water pressure was great, and the kitchen was fully stocked with supplies, and pots, pans, etc. I love that there were a few extras that really made a difference. The hot tub was a great way to relax, and the pinball machine was an unexpected source of entertainment for the group. Snow removal was included which we really needed while we were there and the location is super convenient for both Deer Valley, and Park City. We will certainly book this location again when we come back! Thanks!

Perfect stay

This home is even better in person. It has everything you’d want, especially the view !! The house is located at the end of a cul de sac so no thru traffic. I’ve never been in a cleaner or more comfortable rental. Bed comfort, furnishings, 3 outdoor decks , new appliances, plenty of dishes, utensils and the list goes on and on. We will definitely return to Chalet Jordanelle when back in Park City. Owner very good at communicating.

Spacious ski retreat by the lake

We had a great time at Hailstone at Stillwater. It was a very nice place for our family ski vacation. Very clean and we all felt the home was even more spacious than we anticipated from the pictures in the listing. The home's design makes it easy for everyone to have "'their space" when needed and the main den was big enough for all to gather to play games at the table, tell tales of adventures on the mountain and watch pix and videos from that day's skiing. (the TV's were easy to cast to from our phones) The massage chair didn't really catch my interest when I saw it in the listing, but once we gave it a try, wow, everyone took turns letting it work out the kinks and sore muscles each evening. : ) We love an apres ski hot tub soak with stories from the day. We really enjoyed the hot tub. It was big enough and hot enough for our group, the jets hit the spots the chair might have missed and with the heated sidewalk, you'll always have a clear path even if you get 20 inches of snow during your stay like we did! The kitchen was nicely appointed with all we needed for the times we wanted a family meal at home. We loved the beds, and great pillows. I regret not checking for the brand! : ) Washer and dryer looked very new and we did a few loads which was a big help. Great neighborhood that was easy to get to, between 12 to 20 minutes to PCMR base and super convenient (3 minutes maybe) if skiing Deer Valley with the Jordanelle gondola right across the highway. Tip: if you want dinner out but away from the Park City dinner crowds, we loved Back 40 Ranch House Grill, 13 minutes down US-40 toward Heber City. They take reservations, ask for a table in the yurt! We had a couple of issues during our stay and were very pleased with the responsiveness of the property management. Very professional, polite and fast to respond. We travel frequently and know things happen sometimes even at a great home. We really value our family vacation experiences; having a host that is responsive and really cares is priceless. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Stay

Property was beautiful with great views. We had everything we needed for our first time visit to Utah. Great attention to details. Did a lot of cooking since we had a large group. Only additional item we could have asked for is an air fryer. Our family had a wonderful stay.

Perfect Christmas!

This property was everything it advertised. We had three families including kids and teenagers.plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Kitchen was beyond well stocked and the hot tub was perfect for the end of the day after the slopes. Perfect distance to the gondola and a quick drive into Park City. I would highly recommend this property and we will definitely be back!
