  • Make your trip unforgettable! Step back into the Wild West, the early days of Hays City! One of the oldest homes still standing from the early days of Hays, built in 1874. This two bedroom, two bath, has been renovated to reflect the rough and tumble, primitive days in Hays City. With modern amenities such as, but not limited to, heated floors, air conditioning, walk in showers, a large antique soaking tub, coffee, and a king bed. Historic photos and books make for an interesting stay!

This house was a true gem. Everything about it from the communication with the host to the decor (historical and authentic) was outstanding. It was such a comfortable stay for us on our way to CO; wish we would have been able to enjoy it longer. Honestly, everything about our stay was perfect!

This place was so unique and charming! It had all the modern necessities but the look of old time charm. We had a little trouble with check in, but the host was very quick to make it right. We would definitely stay here again. It was very clean, and had everything we needed for our one night stay.

The Parsonage was such a cute stay! We came to Hays for a wedding and loved our time at this Vrbo. The host was great about communicating with us.

What a charming house. We loved the beautiful way the house was restored but maintained its unique original style. It was super clean and comfortable; one of our best VRBO experiences ever.

An antique lovers dream! This place is adorable, and I’m obsessed. We stayed in Colorado Springs and Estes Park but nothing compares to this property: much cuter, better amenities, and great price. So clean, so aesthetically pleasing, so many amenities, and the neighborhood seems relatively quiet. There are signs everywhere reminding you where to put things, how to use things, etc., and I love this because I oftentimes find myself stressing before checkout to make sure I’ve followed all the directions to keep the host happy. I loved everything about this place. If I find myself in Hays, KS again, we will be staying here.

This place is wonderful. It is wonderfully restored. The rooms were all lovely and the yard was a huge extra space. When we come back we will stay here again.

The history of this amazing stay was interesting to read. Owners have done an excellent job documenting the 19th C history of The Parsonage.

perfect find in town to stay

we were here for our son’s graduation and stayed with some family and this place was absolutely beautiful and perfect!! loved all the antique decor, would highly recommend!!!

So clean and smartly decorated in a style that matched the vibe of the house. Had everything we needed to make the stay comfy. TV's worked, beds comfortable. Highly recommend.
