I made my reservation a month in advance, rode my motorcycle 700 miles in one day to get there and they informed me they had no rooms available even though I had a confirmation number and all.

Bed was comfortable, shower worked great but…. Dead bugs and a hand full of live spiders all over the room. Carpet was pretty dirty as well.

The rooms at the OYO Crossroads in Osborne KS were not clean. Several things were either missing, bad quality, or not functional. I wrote this review already but then your site said thanks for the review for the Super 8 Wyndham in Clarinda, IA. The Super 8 in Clarinda IA was great so please make sure the bad review goes to the OYO Crossroads in Osborne KS. The good review goes to the Super 8 in Clarinda IA. Thanks!

This is no longer owned by OYO!!! I booked this online and paid in advance. Once I got there I was informed it was not owned by OYO anymore and I needed to cancel. I want to to save the next person the headache!!!

Rooms were clean and well maintained. Some massive potholes need to be filled in in the parking lot. It would have been nice if the coffee in the lobby had been refreshed in the morning. Overall great place to stay if you just need a bed for the night.

Stay anywhere in the area but here ..I spend close to 200 nights a year in hotels for work and this one is the poorest I’ve ever stayed in. Smelly rooms, dirty, bugs you name it. Beds and pillows were awful.

I guess this is a case of you get what you pay for. This motel has an opportunity to be a star in a very small town with very limited options. When I opened the door to the front office the smell of what I can only compare to an animal shelter hit hard. The girl at the front desk was very nice and got me taken care of right away. When I got to my room, I was shocked to discover that I could not lock the deadbolt from inside the room, only with a key from the outside. The doorknob was just a push button lock. I didn’t feel safe at all.

I had to wait in the office about 20 minutes to check in. The blonde headed woman had been in the laundry room. At 10 pm she need to leave a notation in the office. The floor was wet with water and bare feet or feet with wet socks is uncomfortable

Hotels.com list this motel as having laundry facilities. This motel does not have laundry facilities, and we were counting on them. We were doing the bike across Kansas and needed to be able to do our laundry. In addition, this motel did not even have an ice machine. This is the first motel I have ever experienced that had no ice machine And customers had no access to any ice. In addition, the office was often unstaffed, and we had to go find the manager on more than one occasion.

This place really needs to do some serious maintenance and repairs. The first thing I noticed was the missing smoke detector. I found it and the batteries on a shelf above the clothes rack. The lady in the office told me she had to take it down because it was beeping due to low batteries. Two AA batteries should not be too hard to find. This would seem to be a serious safety issue. All of the bathroom fixtures were corroded and covered with hard water deposits. The on/off valve in the bathtub/shower was almost totally inoperable. It worked by pulling out or pushing it in. Almost had to use a prybar to pull it out and a hammer to push it in. The staff was friendly and helpful when they were present. They seemed to leave frequently and leave a note in the office with a number to call if they were needed. I have noted the most serious discrepancies I saw. There were numerous others. If there were any other motels in town I would definitely not stay at this one. A friend that came into town from Oklahoma for the same reunion as myself took one look at the room she got and checked back out and returned to Oklahoma.
