Wally's Cottage was perfect for my husband and dogs. The kitchen had everything needed to make a meal, the bed was very comfortable, the fenced in yard and gated deck were perfect to keep the dogs in or young child.I wished we spent more time in the backyard with the play shed, hot tub and chiminea. What a set up! We were appreciative of the home file provided that listed everything about the house and the area. Matt and Erin provided a lovely getaway in the pocono mountains. We would definitely stay here again!

Cabin was exactly what we needed for a weekend anniversary trip away! Cute place near the lake, close to restaurants and great views. Host provided everything we could need for a short trip. Everything was clean and easy to find. Host was communicative. No complaints!

Wally’s Cottage

Came to the cottage to check out the area for a retirement home.The cottage was nicely finished inside with everything we needed. The backyard and hot tub were amazing! We truly enjoyed our stay and plan to come back in the summer. The owner was very communicative and responded to any questions we had. This will be our “go to” place to stay as we search for our retirement home!

Cute, quiet cabin in the woods.

Overall my family and I loved the cabin and the quietness of the area. We reserved this particular cabin because of the hot tub, but were disappointed to learn that the heat pump went out before our arrival. We contacted the owners who were quick to respond and offer some guidance to remediate the problem. While it could not be fixed, the owners gave us a 100 refund.

Nowhere comfy to sit and needs at lease one more cushy armchair. Beds are terrible. Only one heater, doesnt heat the bedroom unless you leave the door open. Hot tub is small, no step to get in and out. doesnt

My wife and I wanted to get away for a weekend to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary a little early. This was the perfect cottage for us two, we enjoyed some great local eateries and was able to chill by the fire. It’s a great space!

Perfect 4 day get away

We were looking for a quite get away and this fit the bill. Quiet area, especially since it looks like we booked just off season. The place was clean and well maintained. Communication was easy and he even let us know of an issue with the dishwasher beforehand, offering up free fire wood for the inconvenience! Overall an excellent 4 days

Really liked the cottage. It's perfect for two and would be fine with 2 small children...need to be pretty nimble to get up the spiral stairs to the loft. Anything more than 4 people and I would book one of their other properties that are adjacent to this cottage. Close to the boat launch and even closer to a private ramp that charges $10 to lunch. Definitely worth it to avoid the mayhem of the public launch. Most amenities are within a couple of miles...groceries, beer/wine, Dunkin, CVS etc. Food in area is meh. We liked Wallenpaupack Brewing Company...didn't care much for the Ledges. Decent sandwiches at Lake Side Deli, across from the High School.
