"We had an early morning flight so decided to stay here rather than rushing and worrying in the morning. The hosts Lillian and her husband were such lovely people and extremely helpful. We ate out locally and theres a well stocked supermarket just round the corner. "We had a wonderful experience at this location. Check-in was very easy, and the host was most accomodating with our early check-in request. The location is convenient to much of what we wanted to see in Belize City. The studio apartment was neat and clean with all of the accessories that we would have wanted. It is our plan to return to Belize City in the future and our hope to again stay at this location."

"Property was spacious, and clean. There was a lot of things that they considered to make it seem more like home. There’s a grocery store a few blocks away if you would rather stay in to eat. There’s also a nice ocean view walk a couple blocks away. The neighborhood seemed safe to walk around any time of day. "

"Cute little condo. We stayed for 2 days with our 2 kids and visited the ruins and old Belize. We arrived at night and the addresses on the houses are very difficult to see since there are no street lights. Neighborhood looks a little sketch but is completely safe. Would stay here again! "

"Had a wonderful experience at the Gecko Bungalow. Michelle and Scott are amazing hosts, and to be honest, the property is even better than the pictures. You will love the pool and outdoor area which has lots of comfortable seating and an overall awesome vibe. The hosts recommend an excellent driver, the location was perfect for tours/excursions, and the food options were plentiful. You will not be disappointed :)"

"We spent four nights in the amazing tree house overlooking the Belize River. The beautiful swinging Howler Monkeys were right outside the house only feet away. They can be noisy neighbors but the are so worth it! The hosts are amazing and do everything possible to make this a jungle home away from home. Their pool is fantastic. Relaxing to take a dip in the pool since it’s crocodile free, unlike the river in the other side of the house. Truly made memories that will last a lifetime. "

"The camp is a wonderful place to stay if you’re going to be venturing around Belize. It is centrally located just outside of Belize city and is actually a short drive to almost anywhere in the country. We toured all over the country while staying there and easily made it back each day to the camp by bedtime. The place is run by some wonderful people who love their job and make you feel very welcome and at home. I will definitely be staying there when I go back to conduct business in Belize."
