"Lovely little cottage in a beautiful, peaceful location. Well equipped and immaculately clean and modern. Absolutely loved staying here and of course our visits from Charlie the Heron who we fed sardines every day. Definitely would stay here again and recommend to everyone"

Had difficulty finding it, but then realised we had to turn left into road after going around the only lodge on the right and count down from there, then drove back out onto main access road to find parking space next to the caravan. Louise was a fantastic host; great communication, met us on arrival for tour of the house (also very kindly left us nice bottle of wine, crisps and a large carrot cake from the local bakery on the dining table, as well as fresh milk and eggs in the fridge!). "The property was lovely suited our requirements as it had a ground floor bedroom, no need to go upstairs. Had everything we required. Lovely kitchen and bathroom. The only downside was it had not be cleaned properly, worksurfaces still had food debris and both sofas needed a vacuum over, plus they were stained. Would certainly recommend the house."

"Stunning lodge with stunning views. Tranquil setting amongst trees. We even had deer in the garden. Lodge was very well equipped and very comfortable. Could have done with a few more plates, dishes etc so we didn't have to put the dishwasher on after every meal. "
