To begin with, I was travelling with my family and international friends. At the time of check-in, I paid the full amount at once which was ₹3,819.
Later, when I came back from outside, an individual named “Aryan” who called himself the manager told me that there had been a change in the price and now the total was ₹4,010. I explained to him that I booked this property through Expedia and it already included all taxes and other expenses. He tried calling his boss but no one answered his call.
The next day during check-out, while we were walking out of the hotel, he suddenly brought a form and asked us to fill it. When I asked why this was not done earlier, Mr. Aryan said he forgot and that now was the right time to do the paperwork. I told him we were getting late as we had to catch our train. He said just sign at the end because it was for foreign travellers, but when I read the form, it was not correct, so I refused to sign it.
Overall, my experience with this hotel was very poor. Their manager has no sense of how to talk to guests and speaks as if he is fighting on the street.
Pathetic customer service.
I sincerely hope Expedia will take some tangible action regarding this matter.
