The house is spacious enough that you never felt like you were crowded or underfoot of another. All of the separate spaces-loft for kids-main floor-basement recreation room & bedrooms worked out very well.When my husband and I discussed this possibility, we knew we wanted as many bedrooms with en suites as possible.
