A great place in Harbor Island

This condo is great, very comfortable, had everything we needed and everything worked well, cleaning ourselves was not a problem, found most everything we needed to do the job. The owner answered my questions quickly. The close proximity to Hunting Island is a big plus! Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely wonderful!

We all decided our stay was the best vacation we’ve ever had! The location, home, and community were delightful! We could not get enough of the natural beauty, animals, birds and views in the area! The easy accessibility to the ocean and pools made our trip with younger children a breeze! Our only surprise was the distance to grocery stores, gas stations, etc. It’s about 30 minutes away, but now that we have that knowledge we will just plan differently. Totally not a big deal and a easy change in planning for next time! We adored this stay and already hope to return next year!

Really great condo

The condo was really nice and we absolutely loved the porch view. It was an easy walk to the beach over a nice boardwalk. We had a few people coming and going through the week and the host was amazing with getting us extra parking passes and so helpful. The couch/chairs were a little stained but we covered them with sheets and they were very comfortable. We didn’t mind and everything in the house seemed clean and cared for, overall great place to stay and we would come back!

Not what we expected

Stayed on Harbor Island before. Good location but the required cleaning is a lot with limited supplies. This is a 2 level condo. Master bedroom was extremely hot with an uncomfortable bed. Pillows need to be replaced.Nice having extra bathrooms. Listing said parking for one vehicle additional was extra. We only had one car and was charged $85 for parking. Golf carts take up a-lot of the parking spaces for cars. Keep your eyes open because they will run over you. Lots of stairs outside and inside. Not senior friendly.

Harbor Island

Loved the location : perfect view of both, ocean side and a salt marshes. We spent a lot of enjoyable evenings on a patio. You have all you need at this place and inside feels very homey too.

The property is equipped with everything you need. The owners communicate perfectly. The villa ratings are good but it shows wear and tear. The owners do cut you a break by asking you to clean from their checklist but the level is subjective. When we arrived it was just ok. On that note, I would rent again. Bring your own beach gear. Laundry worked great! Kitchen is well equipped. The community is nice with 2 small pools and one big pool, a gym, tennis courts and a gift/snack shop and just 5 min from the beach. It’s quiet. The tide is out for what seems like a mile most hours. It’s safe for kids and fun to explore though. Locals say stay away from the abandoned beach homes on the sand due to glass etc..The birds are fun to watch. Close dining is limited but good. Low country Superior Coffee had amazing food. Beaufort is beautiful and quaint.

Relaxing vacation on Harbor Island

My family loves staying at Harbor Island for the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. I would stay here again. Not the most direct view of the ocean but does have nice views of the end of the island and marsh.

Outstanding View!

This condo has possibly the best view of any place we've stayed. Spectacular view of the ocean and sandbars to the left, and views of the tidal marsh to the right. We enjoyed sitting on the large deck each evening with the ocean breeze generally keeping the bugs away. The condo is very nice and comfortable, having everything we needed. It was clean, and ready for us when we got there, and we didn't mind cleaning it the same for the next renter. Communication with the owners was great. And a lot of communication, since a hurricane was heading in. We had to cut our trip short, but we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Wonderful week!

This condo was very comfortable and a great fit for our family! We put adults in both upstairs bedrooms and kids on the pullout sofa, which was much more comfortable than most they have slept on. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The view from the deck of both the marsh and the ocean was a treat! We’d definitely stay here again.

Ocean View Stay

The advertisement for this property was spot on. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from the main bedroom window and from the deck. The beach was a 2 minute walk from the rental. Being in a home atmosphere made for a very relaxing vacation. It was nice that the rental was equipped with everything needed to cook and real dishes to use. The homeowners really thought of everything. We had great communication with the owner. The Island was beautiful to explore. The locals were extremely friendly. The area seafood restaurants were amazing. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We will definitely be back.

Quiet Beautiful View & Vacation

A very quiet, calm vacation in one of South Carolina's most beautiful settings. Everything was as stated on-line. Owner VERY responsive to a minor issue. We are definitely going to come back.

PERFECT SPOT WITH GREAT COMMUNICATION AND SUPPORT!

We had a blast, and the location of this condo is awesome. The walkway, pool, beach, and marsh are super close. The building is older, so renters need to understand that the condo isn't going to appear spotless, but it is clean:) The previous renters did a good job cleaning up for us (even leaving a nice note, which we carried forward), and we did our best to sanitize the home from top to bottom. There were LOTS of towels and bed linens, which was helpful. The kitchen had everything we needed, and every appliance worked great. Thanks so much for a wonderful week!

Great Beach Getaway

Very nice condo. Harbor Island is a lovely place, and the amenities are a real plus. It didn't make a difference for me, but the info should include information on how many stairs are involved both inside the unit and access to it.

Prefect condo by the beach

This place was great. It was right by the beach. We actually witnessed baby turtles hatching and going out to sea. It was an amazing experience. We went down for our sons graduation from Parris Island. Only 25 minute drive to the base. We would come back again.

Great Location!

The condo was clean and organized. We enjoyed our stay! The boardwalk stroll to the beach was nice and offered the opportunity for viewing turtles and gators. We enjoyed the beautiful landscaping daily while walking/jogging the grounds. We would stay here again in the future. Jess was quick to respond and answer questions when needed.
