"Lovely hotel set on South Sands beach. Room nice - we had one looking out over road and car park - seaview ones more expensive. Walls are thin and you hear the plumbing system in morning when others are using their bathrooms. Breakfast is a delight, overlooking the sea and choice is excellent. You can take the boat from the beach to Salcombe town fir under a fiver. We did it one-way and walked back. Lovely coastal walk just over a mile so not too far. Road access to the hotel is quite...

"Really comfortable B&B, the owners were really hospitable and the breakfasts were prob one of the best I have ever had. Dog friendly and super cute that they provided dog treats in the room. Only small thing is the jacuzzi was wood fired and they needed 6 hours notice if you wanted to use it and felt there was a bit of reluctance around asking to use it. "

"Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x"

"Had an amazing stay at Ship in Dock Inn. The owner had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and special. Lots of little extra details that you don't get in most places. "Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good. Room was clean . However was very tired and need of a freshen up. Could not turn shower off so had to be moved rooms. Second room lock was a bit fishy and needed lots of pulling/pushing to secure locking "
