    Hale o'Mahina en Ha'ena (La Casa de la Luna en Ha'ena) se encuentra en una calle tranquila con vistas al océano y a la montaña. Puedes caminar a la playa en un minuto o menos.

    Ubicado en un gran lote con paisajes tropicales maduros, esta casa de tres dormitorios y tres baños completos es el escenario perfecto para una escapada romántica o unas vacaciones inolvidables con familiares y amigos. Relájese en el lanai cubierto recién terminado con vistas a las montañas detrás de usted y al hermoso océano azul en frente.

    Esta espaciosa casa cuenta con una sala de estar de concepto abierto con una gran sala, comedor y cocina. Techos abovedados, pisos de madera y pizarra, y muebles de teca, koa y bambú complementan el ambiente tropical.

    Hay una cama king en cada una de las tres habitaciones (una de las cuales se puede convertir en dos camas individuales). Hay tres baños completos.

    Hay una barbacoa de gas y una cocina totalmente equipada con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, perfecta para los días en que le gustaría cenar. Y hay restaurantes cercanos para los días que prefieres cenar.

Family vacation

We loved the house and the location. The huge lanai was great to hang out on during rain as well as at night. It’s huge! Room for the whole group.

Our Nirvana

That being said, there were several issues that should be addressed, especially since the price has doubled in the last three years.

This place is clearly for sale

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While the location was great for our family it was clear thatthe actual house has deferred maintenance that should be addressed if folks are renting. The dishwasher did not work (we did know this and were prepared to hand wash dishes) but the drains moved very very slowly. Filter was out on the fridge creating loud persistent beeping. The primary bathrooms tub drain does not work so we were able to take a bath which was very disappointing. There is very little view from the house. I would only recommend this property if these issues got fixed.The blinds in the master bedroom were broken.

We couldn’t have asked for a more amazing experience at this beautiful home! From the moment we walked in, we knew it was going to accommodate my family perfectly on our week long vacation! We have stayed in this exact area of Ha’ena quite a few times within the past 2 years but never at this particular home! I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again in the future! The huge lanai was the most popular spot for us all to embrace the breathtaking views of the ocean, sunrises and mountains! It’s heaven on earth!! The beach is steps away and is a perfect spot for snorkeling! I’ve been lucky enough to swim with turtles every time I’ve been out and it’s been life changing to experience! Kauai is our home away from home and we can’t wait to book this same home when we visit next year! We appreciated how spotless it was upon arrival! It did get extremely warm in the home with some of the fans not in working condition. However, we knew when booking that this home didn’t have A/C which wasn’t a big deal to us. It may be an issue for others who don’t realize just how hot it can get during the day and night. This particular home wasn’t as equipped with items needed to prepare meals as other homes we’ve stayed at in this area. The stove wasn’t in the best condition and made it difficult to prepare the meals we had planned for the week. So we did have to make other arrangements but again, it wouldn’t prevent us from booking this home again. Overall 10/10!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place with a few issues. The window shade in one of the bedrooms was broken so we couldn't enjoy the view. And the whirlpool in the master bedroom was broken. Too bad because after the hike on the Na Pali trail it would have been nice.

Nice Location

Reviewer Comments: If you want to get away from the main crowds this is the place to stay. note that in extreme weather you can get stuck here for a day or two as the bridges can close and roads can be blocked. the house is very clean, with plenty of space, very functioning kitchen and a great deck. due to possible floods the house is on stilts so a lot of stairs to climb so not ideal for people with mobility issues. drive into Hanalei is pretty quick and very pretty. We love this location as after heavy rains the birds sing, the flowers brighten, the sun shines and the rainbows appear, yes seriously beautiful nature. If you prefer convenience then I recommend you not stay in this part of Kauai.

Paradise

This home is a little slice of paradise. The location is amazing! About a block to the beach on a charming dirt road. We loved walking/running to Tunnels Beach in the mornings, walking to coffee at Colony Resort, Bbqing and playing cards on the deck and watching the sunsets at the point. Quick drive to Hanalei. The house itself is beautiful and comfortable. Has a pretty view of the ocean from the deck and you can hear the ocean waves crashing at night. A few things you need to plan on in this area due to the road closures and Covid. The restaurants have very strange hours so make your reservations very early. They open the roads in the evening and people flood in and there aren’t many walk ups available. Postcards is the best we ate at!! Plan you grocery store shopping because you have to drive to Hanalei if you need anything. Also plan your gas. We came with half a tank and then realized driving back-and-forth we were quickly going to run out so we had to quickly drive through the convoy to Princeville and back. A little nerve-racking thinking we might not make it back and be shut out for hours. We loved living the simple and so life for a week. Feeling refreshed going back to school and work and can’t wait to return someday.

Beautiful house

This is our second stay at this property. Very clean, modern house. Huge lanai. No AC but we stayed in August and it never fell warm. Cool ocean breeze. Beach access is right across the street. House is on a dirt road which is very cool. Would highly recommend staying here.

Lovely property with view Beach Views

The house is immaculate and spacious. In the winter, when local beaches are not swim-able, the area is isolated.
