A Wonderful Stay

Clean, cosy, and full of character, this is such a lovely and comfortable home. Watch the bay with a drink out front as the sun goes down, or marvel at the unobstructed view of the mountains and waterfalls from the big kitchen window over breakfast. Our two year old really enjoyed pottering about, seeking out green lizards in the garden and was a BIG fan of the beach toys. Speaking of the beach, it’s right there, 3-5 mins walk away and the village is not much further.What a tranquil spot and a peaceful place to stay. It was our first stay but won’t be our last. We hope to return as soon as possible.

Gorgeous Hanalei Getaway!

We loved our stay at this little Hanalei hideaway! We love the north side of the island for its green beauty, beaches and waterfalls. This cute house had views of all of it. From one bedroom, we could see moutains and waterfalls, from the other, we could see the beach and bay. The walks to the beach and the Hanalei stores and restaurants were quick and easy. The house was clean and comfortable, and Kauai Vacation rentals, who manages the property, was very easy to work with. We would definitely stay there again!

Low key, comfortable, generally tranquil little house with ocean and mountain views. Walk to beach and town. Rooms themselves could use some refurbishing. Overall experience very nice.

Great spot

We enjoyed our 2nd time staying here. The location is wonderful and the house was very clean. The neighborhood vibes are terrific and the beach being in walking distance is perfect. Easy access to downtown Hanalie.

Just Right

This property is just right for small families who want to have a nice vacation without breaking the bank. Good location and Walking distance to everything. The only negative is there is no AC. It isn’t always needed but the house can get stuffy if there is no breeze.

Beautiful location

Within walking distance to everything. A perfect and beautiful view of the mountains out of the picture window in the kitchen. Amenities are well thought out to include everything you would need. Loved the history of the house learned through pictures and text. We would stay here again and again!

Great lanai and vintage pole house

We quickly felt at home here in Hanalei. The property had a gorgeous view from the kitchen of the Napali mountains and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch. The vintage decor and laid back vibe matched the description provided. Close to the beach and downtown. 5-10% less on the price would be perfect.

Lovely option less than 5 minute walk to Hanalei Bay

We absolutely adored the vintage character present in every room here, the family history and how it came to be. I’ve stayed in multiple places all over the island and this is truly a sweet lil hideaway. You can not beat the walking proximity to the bay, the pier, the vibrant, unique shops, pubs and restaurants. Bring your friends, family, lovers, you will not be disappointed.

Amazing getaway!

This place was perfect for our family getaway! They are not lying about how close it is to both the beach and the markets. This place is equipped with all amenities including beach chairs, umbrella and sand toys for the kids. Hanalei beach is incredible. We are definitely planning on visiting again!

Cute house with gorgeous views

We enjoyed our stay at Hanalei. The house was comfortable and location was very convenient. The welcome gift was a really nice surprise. The views of the mountains from the kitchen are incredible! In terms of privacy, the house has a large backyard, but it is at very close proximity to houses on the right and the left, so you do hear noise from neighbors throughout the day. Also, we noticed there were people passing through the property and under our window every day, which made us a bit uncomfortable. So overall, it didn’t feel very secluded. One thing we were not aware of is that there are no shampoo/conditioner provided, so we had to run and get some, which wasn’t a big deal, however we didn’t expect it. Overall we had a great stay, and we loved the chicken!

Older world perfection

The house reflects the age of the area, older but comfy. It has every single amenity a small holiday party could want including 4 beach chairs and an umbrella. We thoroughly enjoyed it…in fact we cooked using the kitchen and/or the BBQ every single night for a week. Close to beach and the shops. Worth noting that the two bedrooms have walls that do not go all the way to the ceiling but are separated by the bathroom which has a ceiling. We would book it again.

Simple Pleasures

Relaxing stay in a simple, tranquil cottage with views of the mountains and of Hanalei Bay. Short walk to a perfect, uncrowded beach or to town. All we hoped for!

Hanalei Vacation

What most amazed me was the ocean view front the front deck- we moved a small table from below to the deck and enjoyed morning coffee and dinner :) It was perfect for the three of us- and Weke Rd is the perfect location- quick walk to the beach or into town- it was quiet and beautiful- highly recommend for small group!

Great option for family of 4

Great location on Weke Road equidistant from Pine Trees and Pavilion beach entrances. As advertised the place is small and rustic. But it has beautiful front and back lawns with a view from the back windows of the mountains. You can even see the water a little bit from the front porch. I'd stay here again because our family loves the simple layout and traditional feel. If you are looking for modern amenities and recent construction, this is not for you.
