We instantly felt at home in this house! It has everything you need to live, just like home. We stayed here for 11 nights. It was spacious for the 6 of us. Loved that we could open the windows all throughout the house and have the breeze flow through! The day we checked in the neighbors dog came and greeted us. That was very welcomed as we have dogs at home. He was a caramel colored small breed dog named Keoke (not sure if I spelled that right but, it's pronounced like key-o-key). The next small breed dog that came and hung out is white with brown spots, his name is Lucky. They were both very friendly, sweet dogs. The backyard was nice and private. But, I warn you!! The mosquitos will eat you alive, lol! We tried everything but straight deet. I think they are immune to OFF and Cutter. We even bought some essential oil naturopathic stuff at Big Save in Hanalei. It worked better than Deep Woods OFF and Cutter. But, after about an hour or so it wears off and the feast continues lol. The house is right off Kuhio Hwy and traffic can get pretty busy but, not distracting to us. When backing out of the drive way, just be sure to go slow. Our favorite beach to go sunbath was at Haena Park. The water there is really rough but, for just laying in the sun it's perfect! For food we went to the Big Save market in Hanalei. They surprisingly had a lot of stuff! For being so far north and not many options, their prices weren't to bad. The house has everything you need to make a full meal. The coffee maker is awesome and the toaster was really high tech! We would stay here again and we miss our home of 11 days! MAHALO! <3
